Welcome to our weekly round-up of forthcoming releases.
German photographer and designer Stefan Heilemann is considered to be one of the most magnificent artists of his genre. Highly respected on the scene for his bizarre and ironic works, “Laugh, Cry and Scream” is the long-awaited book featuring many of his truly fantastic works. Also includes a thirteen-track compilation soundtrack by IN STRICT CONFIDENCE, with new and rare material plus classics from the band. For connoisseurs of deluxe dance-pop, seductive electro anthems and gold-plated disco grooves, “Non-Stop” is a lavish collection of exquisite dancefloor confessionals from one of the most acclaimed and beloved singers in British pop, ANDY BELL. “Non-Stop” features the forthcoming single “Call On Me” (the single consists of an exclusive bonus track, “Had It All”, plus remixes of the title track) and “Honey If You Love Him”, a duet with/written by Perry Farrell (JANE’S ADDICTION).
An absolute milestone of dark romantic, folk-influenced and neo-classical music is now being re-released. With their album “Ignis Fatuus: Irrlichter” (1994) German band ENGELSSTAUB created a fascinating piece of dark music that has become a CLASSIC of the genre. Unavailable for ages, this amazing re-release comes in a six-panel, DVD-sized deluxe digipak, and all tracks have been not simply remastered but completely remixed. After almost 30 years since PINK INDUSTRY’s creation, “New Naked Technology – 2010 Remasters” is a new compilation bringing together a wide selection of material, some of it previously unreleased, all of it completely remastered. Includes classics like “What I Wouldn’t Give”, “Pain of Pride”, “The Corpse” and “Empty Beach”. The CD+DVD edition of the album is strictly limited to 100 copies and features 35 minutes of live footage shot in Manchester in 1984, plus three videoclips, whilst the collector’s edition includes the CD+DVD edition of the album, a bonus CD, a T-shirt, and more (limited to 50 copies!!!). “Re-turn Your Revolt into Style” is the much demanded and long overdue re-release of an extremely rare album from VON THRONSTAHL, originally released in 2002. Regarded as one of the most original and finest VON THRONSTAHL CDs, this special re-release comes with a second CD, densely packed with rare remixes, different versions of well known tracks and a number of previously unreleased, exclusive tracks! “A Little Hard to Swallow” and “Living Monstrosities/Descent” are the third and fourth releases from the “Rozz Williams – The Lost Recordings” project. The former was made by PREMATURE EJACULATION in 1982, consisting of a long sequence of untitled tracks spread over two sides. “Living Monstrosities/Descent” are very complex, structured pieces and both are previously unreleased in this full, unedited form.
Since their debut “Audiophobie”, MASCHINENKRIEGER KR52 vs DISRAPTOR have become within a very short time one of the most high appreciated rhythm’n’noise acts on the scene. On their second album “Meltdown” they have developed their sound further and become more diverse – strict, driving, distorted beats, samples and minimal sequences are melted together to give rise to an exciting inferno full of energy. After a long hiatus of twelve years, German cult band SWEET WILLIAM strike back with a splendid new CD! “Brighter Than the Sun” is packed with 68 minutes of all-new material, in the form of fourteen tracks of dark electronic rock music combined with typical psychedelic elements.
Belgium’s rising breakcore star FRACTIONAL returns after his much-revered debut CD “Come Mierda” in 2008. “Blood”is a fierce brew of breakcore, IDM, and electronica all accented by an uncanny sense of melody and emotion.
BLACKHOUSE are an oddity on the industrial scene, because their music features Christian themes and lyrics. In order to celebrate the 25th birthday of this legendary American act, M-tronic is proud to release a double CD including the classic slab of industrial vinyl from 1984 “Hope…” re-born into a new dimension 25 years later, as well as a full NEW “25 Years” CD, including new and unreleased tracks, collaborations and remixes by BRUME, HYPNOSKULL, ORPHX and more. ADVOXYA RECORDS are back with releases from several of their artists. NEXUS VI offer up more dark, dance-oriented EBM/darkwave with “Apocalypse”; Russian act WAVEFALL play EBM with dark electro influences and distorted vocals on “EP-tronics“; IMPACT PULSE provide a collection of their best remixes as well as two fresh new tracks on “Remix Module’s”; THE-PULSAR from St Petersburg give us their 2007 release “Revolution [Reloaded]”; and T.W.Z.’s “Serpent Column Portal” is the band’s darkest, most energetic and danceable album ever.
SPANDAU BALLET return with two re-issues, “True” and “Parade” which have now also received the complete remastering treatment and come bursting with bonus material and previously unreleased tracks, all packaged together in digipak format. Originally released in March of 1983, “True” was the band’s first No. 1 album, whilst “Parade”, originally released in July of 1984, was a UK No. 2 hit for the group. Magazine
The UK’s leading goth/dark alternative magazine, UNSCENE, returns with another fantastic issue (number 8!). Interviews this time include: CARL MCCOY, THE BEAUTY OF GEMINA, MESH, ASSEMBLAGE 23, BAK XIII, and more. Plus there’s a FREE 15 track CD.

For connoisseurs of deluxe dance-pop, seductive electro anthems and gold-plated disco grooves. Co-produced and co-written by ANDY BELL and Pascal Gabriel (S’EXPRESS, LADYHAWKE, DEBBIE HARRY, KYLIE, LITTLE BOOTS), “Non-Stop” is a lavish collection of exquisite dancefloor confessionals from one of the most acclaimed and beloved singers in British pop.
“Non-Stop” features the forthcoming single “Call On Me” and “Honey If You Love Him”, a duet with/written by Perry Farrell (JANE’S ADDICTION), a huge fan of Andy’s voice.
Although Andy’s long-running partnership with Vince Clarke in ERASURE remains very much a going concern, the singer’s second solo album provides a liberating platform for his more clubby, nocturnal, disco-glam side. He has even purposely changed his vocal register and style for much of “Non-Stop”, putting clear blue water between his soulfully electronic solo voice and his gleaming, poppy ERASURE work.

Unavailable for ages, this amazing re-release comes in a six-panel, DVD-sized deluxe digipak, and all tracks have been not simply remastered but completely remixed. Also included is a new, previously unreleased track.
Based on trance-like percussion basements, beautiful and softly plugged acoustic guitars create impressive folk melodies. Medieval flutes and the male-female vocal dualism rise in a sacred lure comparable to DEAD CAN DANCE. The decent use of synthesizers on top of the neofolk rhythmic pattern spreads a fragile charm reminiscent of DEATH IN JUNE. The music flows skillfully between apocalyptic folk, neoclassic and fascinating eternal and modern arrangements.
Fascinating, beautiful, romantic, hypnotic, fragile and far away from being a commercial sell-out… but one question remains: Why did we have to wait such an incredibly long time until the re-release of this magnificent milestone?

Great British band (from Liverpool) created at the begining of 80s by Jayne Casey (former singer of PINK MILITARY) and Ambrose Reynolds (bass player and founder of the legendary FRANKIE GOES TO HOLLYWOOD). Tadzio was later drafted in on guitar. The band mixes new wave and experimental sounds with sexy vocals.
During their career, PINK INDUSTRY made three full albums, some 12″ singles and one 7″, and recorded four Peel Sessions for the BBC. They split up in 1987 with Jayne going on to work in the business side of the music industry and Ambrose working on new music project USL, whilst Tadzio simply disappeared. Now, after almost 30 years since the band’s creation, here is a new compilation bringing together a wide selection of material, some of it previously unreleased, all of it completely remastered. Includes classics like “What I Wouldn’t Give”, “Pain of Pride”, “The Corpse” and “Empty Beach” – not to be missed!

This is the much demanded and long overdue re-release of an extremely rare album from VON THRONSTAHL, originally released in 2002. The album was strictly limited to 500 hand-numbered copies and came in very special packaging: the CD was mounted on a glass plate inside a 6″ black box with gold-embossed logo and title on the front. Regarded as one of the most original and finest VON THRONSTAHL CDs, this is the first time that this long-lost album has been re-released.
All tracks have been digitally re-mastered making them sound much fresher than ever! Furthermore, this special re-release comes with a second CD, densely packed with rare remixes, different versions of well known tracks and a number of previously unreleased, exclusive tracks!
The packaging this time is a little more modest, but still quite lavish: a deluxe 2CD digipak inside a beautiful cardboard-slider with gold print.

Third release from “Rozz Williams – The Lost Recordings” project.
“A Little Hard to Swallow” ends ROZZ WILLIAMS’ initial foray into experimenal music. Made in 1982, Rozz returned to some of the sounds and live recordings included in the earlier PREMATURE EJACULATION works and edited them in with many new recordings and samples. He had become more confident in his abilities and as a result “A Little Hard to Swallow” is much more structured than its predecessors and can be considered the first truly classic PE recording.
The album consists of a long sequence of untitled tracks spread over two sides. Since the original cassette recording featured few, if any, distinguishable track breaks it was felt important not to arbitarily separate each single piece of music for the CD release. Rozz had obviously intended for the music to be enjoyed as a continous listening experience rather than for each piece to be listened to in isolation. This would not be the last time that Rozz used such tactics. “A Little Hard to Swallow” also incorporates the use of samples and there are some vocalisations and spoken word sequences as well as live jam recordings.
The original cassette sleeve for “A Little Hard to Swallow” still survives and is in the possession of Ron Marrs. It features a black and white image and above it are the words ‘A brain operation, showing a bone drill boring through the skull’. In addition, Rozz superimposed an image of an eye to complete the artwork. The design of the artwork for this release has been kept as faithful to the original as possible.

Fourth release from “Rozz Williams – The Lost Recordings” project.
ROZZ WILLIAMS returned to his interest in creating experimenal music in 1985, following his departure from CHRISTIAN DEATH. He had met Chuck Collison the previous winter and the pair immediately made plans to work together under the moniker “The Happiest Place on Earth”. “Living Monstrosities/Descent” would appear to be one of the first recordings Rozz made at this time as it is said to date from 1985. The listener will instantly be aware how the music has matured since the first recordings in 1981 and 1982. Rozz would have learned much during his time spent at recording studios with CHRISTIAN DEATH, working with such renowned producers as Thom Wilson and Eric Westfall. These are very complex, structured pieces and both are previously unreleased in this full, unedited form.
The recording consisted of two separate pieces of music on each side of the cassette. “Living Monstrosities” makes use of various repeated sound effects which gradually builds into a crescendo, and a repeated vocal sample of ‘the most astounding living monstrosity of all time’. “Descent” is a purely instrumental recording, which again relies on repeated sound effects forming a very dark, menacing composition.
The original cassette sleeve for “Living Monstrosities/Descent” still survives and is in the possession of John Collins. The sleeve features a black and white image of a screaming child being held down by an unidentified adult, presumably a doctor or physician of some kind. The original cassette artwork is quite dramatic, and the only change made for this release was to rotate the image 90 degrees in an anticlockwise direction so that the child’s face is the correct way up.

Since their debut “Audiophobie”, MASCHINENKRIEGER KR52 vs DISRAPTOR have become within a very short time one of the most high appreciated rhythm’n’noise acts on the scene. The huge number of club smashes on their last album and their highly energetic live performances assured that within a short time they would become a ‘must’ for industrial DJs everywhere.
On their second album they have developed their sound further and become more diverse, whilst preserving the typical and unique straightness of their tracks, with the result that these sixteen new tracks will function even more perfectly in the club environment. Strict, driving, distorted beats, samples and minimal sequences are melted together to give rise to an exciting rhythm’n’noise inferno full of energy. We don’t need breaks!

After a long hiatus of twelve years without any official new releases, German cult band SWEET WILLIAM (known for acclaimed releases on Hyperium and Dion Fortune) strike back with a splendid new CD! It is packed with 68 minutes of all-new material, in the form of fourteen tracks of dark electronic rock music combined with typical SWEET WILLIAM psychedelic elements that take you on a journey through the depths of the human emotional condition.
The music changes from track to track – telling stories of lost souls and stories of hope, followed by songs that let the world shine again by creating warm and shimmering atmospheres. Electronic elements, loops combined with real drums, guitars, driving bass lines, strings, pianos and the characteristic vocals come together to form to a musical experience that is hard to find these days. You’ll hear slow, smooth pieces spilling over into fast electronic numbers, tracks of longer than six minutes as well as pop-art songs of just three and half. The new SWEET WILLIAM album “Brighter Than the Sun” shows the many faces of this band, the ability to surprise the listener with new elements while never leaving the typical sound that they’ve forged during their long existence. Don’t miss this great and surprising come-back!

BLACKHOUSE are an oddity on the industrial scene, because their music features Christian themes and lyrics. The duo of Ivo Cutler and Sterling Cross come from the heart of Mormon country, Salt Lake City, and have baffled the scene since they began opposing the libertine power electronics of WHITEHOUSE with their Bible-obsessed messages. Unlike bland Christian pop, BLACKHOUSE preach the good word over the wicked sounds of raw beats and harsh electronix. They see no contradiction in their art, because as they say: “There is no war more holy than the fight for peace.”
In order to celebrate the 25th birthday of this legendary American act, M-tronic is proud to release a double CD including the classic slab of industrial vinyl from 1984 “Hope…” re-born into a new dimension 25 years later, as well as a full NEW “25 Years” CD, including new and unreleased tracks, speeches by Brian Ladd himself, collaborations and remixes by BRUME, LE SYNDICAT, HYPNOSKULL, PBK, ORPHX, PACIFIC 231 and more, plus some special surprises… The “25 Years” album was produced by Patrick Stevens of HYPNOSKULL.

NEXUS VI – the type of brain belonging to the artificial people struggling for existence in this world.
This group (also known as NEXUS VIRUS) was formed by the electronic musician NEUROMANCER in 2001 and originally focused on melodic EBM/darkwave with the mixtures of IDM. Then the project started to experiment with drum’n’bass elements. In the spring of 2006 CYANIC became a permanent member of the band on vocals. In the beginning of 2007 guitarist NIKE also joined Nexus VI. The first album “Decaying Society” was self-released the same year, and represents a collection of the best tracks written from 2001 up to 2006. A second, more rigid, darker and more dance-oriented album “Electrolust” was released by NEXUS VI on the Russian label Art Music Group in the summer of 2008. Judging by its sound, this new album is the direct continuation of “Electrolust”. Await, “Apocalypse” comes now.

Russian act WAVEFALL play EBM with dark electro influences and distorted vocals. Sometimes you will also hear a roaring guitar, but the music has no futurepop influences. Comparisons with HOCICO and FUNKER VOGT are somewhat justified, but WAVEFALL sound different anyway. Sometimes the classical bombastic sounds make you think of FLESH FIELD as well. They have contributed to a Russian PROJECT PITCHFORK tribute before, a band that is still extremely popular in that area. But WAVEFALL’s strength is their use of original sounds which ensure them a face of their own.
And in 2010, the destructive machine named WAVEFALL gets a new engine, this time with a remix album, based on tracks from the band’s first two albums, and also including two brand new tracks – “Childish Story” and “Fantasia”.

THE-PULSAR from St Petersburg have been publishing traditional EBM tracks since 1998. In the period up until 2005, when the group issued their first official album “Awakening”, the guys composed a lot of material which did not correspond to the concept of that album, but which is still definitely likely to be of interest to the band’s fans. Thus these tracks have been compiled into a strictly limited edition release of so-called ‘lost and found’ material, all completely remastered. This release features the “Revolution”, originally released on audio cassette only in 1999 and today a very hard to find rarity. This edition is intended for the group’s fans and for all those interested in the history of the development of the contemporary Russian industrial scene.

T.W.Z. was founded in 2003, spreading religious and mythical words and playing industrial/E.B.M. with ambient elements. The primary concept is ‘Timewave Zero’. Most of the songs discuss this subject and yet, they are not bound to a specific ideology, rather a category which can best be described as anti-humanistic.
On this, his second album via Advoxya records Richard aka T.W.Z. goes far beyond standard cliches and constructs his own musical sculptures via versatile sound design, combinations of different influences and aggressive interjections. Club-oriented tracks are follwed by heavy, mystic and dark melodies. This is without a doubt T.W.Z.s darkest, most energetic and danceable album ever. Experience eleven different tracks spanning dark atmospheres and various moods for a total of 50 minutes of fantastic music!

The second-coming of this Dutch project after their well-received CD “Blue Beam” on the French label M-Tronic.
Here, GEOMATIC continue to evolve their sound into a slow-burning, beat-driven, and atmospheric display of futuristic complexity and epic sound architectures. “64 Light Years Away” presents a vast aural journey through a cerebral universe, melding industrial-like rhythms with enormous atmospheres and tribal beatwork.
One for the headphones, “64 Light Years Away” is a truly awesome jaunt into the fantastic realm of post-Industrial soundscapes. A filthy, complex, and gripping listen all around to say the least. For fans of FLINT GLASS, ZENTRIERT INS ANTLITZ, EX_TENSION, TOTAKEKE and MLADA FRONTA.

After SE’s critically-acclaimed debut album “Epiphora”, Sebastian Ehmke returns to Tympanik Audio with his latest collection entitled “L36”.
Melding post-rock and electronica styles with glitchy beats and infectious synthwork, “L36” makes a very notable step forward for SE with undeniable maturity and grace. Warm and inviting, each track lends an airy resolve flowing gracefully throughout with genuine emotion and purposeful tenacity. Smooth, dreamy, and unforgettable. Featuring a stunning remix by SUBHEIM.

FRONT 242’s “Vintage Tour” concept was so well-received across the globe that it is actually still running today… During the last couple of years, Belgium’s very own pioneers of electronic music, FRONT 242, have performed live in front of many thousands of fans, all impressed by the early electronic music atmosphere they bring to the stage through the good old analogue sequences the band has reloaded to match the spirit of their time… FRONT 242 indeed come from a different time, when working with electronic music was difficult, the machines were hostile and humans needed to interact strongly with synthesizers to master their art – music required discipline.
Here Patrick Codenys, Daniel B., Jean-Luc De Meyer and Richard Jonkheere offer us yet another treasure: the very first live moments in the band’s history, filmed in Budapest, Hungary on December 6th 2008 by the amazing team of Steve’s Black Head Agency. Since the project’s inception in 1997 by musician and painter Clint Carney, SYSTEM SYN’s repertoire has grown to five albums, three EPs and more than a dozen remixes for leading Electro acts, as well as a myriad of compilation contributions.
The intensity and variety of this album is bound to turn heads, and should do wonders for the artist’s somewhat meagre European presence. Its spectrum covers slow, dark melancholic tracks, well-arranged electro-pop songs, and a fair sprinkling electro-industrial club floor-fillers such as “Here’s to Go”, “Chemical”, “The Inconvenient” and “Curtain Call”.
The cover and booklet art were painted by Carney himself are also sure to please art aficionados. But anyone looking at the cover and expecting dark or even aggressive sounds will be mistaken. Although all the songs carry a definite dark romantic and melancholic flair, one will find closer parallels to the works of FADERHEAD, DEPECHE MODE, PROJECT PITCHFORK, SEABOUND and DE/VISION.
The clear line on “Strangers” is built around Clint Carney’s great vocal style. Lyrically, he deals with dark impressions and relationship issues, which SYSTEM SYN superbly sets to music.

This is Electronic Body Music! “EBM – The Compilation” is THE ultimate and comprehensive overview of this legendary foundation stone of club music without which neither the techno movement of the 90s nor our modern electronic dancefloor culture would have been possible. The consequential focus on beats and bass, the passion for experimenting and the overwhelming energy that EBM unleashes result in the ongoing fascination that still emanates from this music more than thirty years after its inception, with a vibrant scene of supporters that give Electronic Body Music their utmost devotion and enthusiasm.

Here at last, recovered from early 90s tape releases, we find eleven unmissable tracks signed by the cult band TEMPLEBEAT (from defunct Machinery/Dynamica label), now collected and remastered on CD. Eleven gems, among which emerge timeless fascinating tracks like “Human”, “Drugs” and “Refuse It”. Only few of these tracks (“Interzone”, “Human”…) appeared later on TEMPLEBEAT’s smash album “Black Suburbia” on Dynamica. A much overdue rescue for this band that almost 20 years ago conceived their own unique and inimitable brand of electro-industrial/EBM, pioneering a style contaminated with incredible post-modern suggestions, sci-fi, horror and pornographic visions. This CD contains eight tracks originally published on the “Interzone” tape, two tracks taken from an Italian compilation and a cover of DAF’s “Der Mussolini” released on the “V.I.T.R.I.O.L. #3” split-tape. Essential!

After ten studio and two live albums and more than 100 songs for their 20th jubilee, the release of a ‘best of’ album might have been expected, but instead of that LACRIMOSA surprise us with the double album “Schattenspiel” (‘Shadowplay’) on which they present to their audience for the first time fifteen unreleased recordings from the past 20 years. And as if that weren’t enough, they have added two brand new songs, composed just for this release.
Reaching a 20 years jubilee is surely not ordinary. And it is even more extraordinary if you bear in mind that all these years LACRIMOSA have never signed a deal with a major record company depite a huge commercial success, with Top ten positions in the charts of various countries. Artistic freedom has always been the top priority for the band.
In addition to their cultural success, several artists from rock, pop and classical music name LACRIMOSA as a source of inspiration. Thus the duo of the German Tilo Wolff and Finnish Anne Nurmi became the co-founders of musical styles such symphonic rock and gothic metal and belong to the most important alternative music groups worldwide.
“Schattenspiel” starts with the presentation of the first and so far unheard musical steps from the year 1990. Then Tilo and Anne open their private archive with exclusive recordings from the following years and end their journey with the latest productions that can be currently heard from them. And what are we going to hear? I have to admit, rather exceptional recordings! Who would have thought that a band that is essentially known as a rock band had begun their career with pure electro numbers like “Schuld und Sühne” and “Seelenübertritt” (both 1990)? The original version of “Schakal” (1994) is particularly surprising. The song officially released in the same year is known as one of the first gothic metal songs ever, though this version doesn’t sound like it at all! The classical elements and the bombastic intention can be divined though the guitars which seem inspired by punk rock while the drums have electronic roots. This combination surely needs getting used to but exactly this makes it pretty charming.
Especially worth mentioning are the new titles “Sellador” and “Ohne Dich Ist Alles Nichts” which are almost opposites. While the former revives the band’s electronic roots, combining these with classical and rock elements, the latter is full of the strong and large emotions that this polemical but always consistent band are known for.
Over all “Schattenspiel” is an informative and touching double album which impresses with its courage of being no ‘best of’ but instead an intimate view into a fascinating musical world that cannot be compared.

Estonia-based SUICIDAL ROMANCE return with their second studio album to date. After the success of their debut “Love Beyond Reach” and the follow up EP “A Kiss to Resist”, the band decided to get none less than Vasi Vallis (of REAPER/FROZEN PLASMA fame) as their producer on the second album. And the mixture of the great melodies and solid songwriting from band leader Dmitry combined with the first class production skills Vasi Vallis has been able to bring to the project have really paid off! “Shattered Heart Reflections” has become a strong dark pop album working with cliches and and a lot of unexpected surprises. No wonder that the album will be released in four territitories simultaniously. Another great album by Estonia’s finest!

Hailing from Florida, GIRLS ON FILM are an all-female three piece band whose music is one part lipstick synth-pop and one part icy-cold new wave. Their fashion-fueled combination of high-energy stage antics and Dancetronic Glam Wave – their signature sound – has earned the band a reputation as one of the hottest new wave acts out of the US in years!
The Girls traveled to Malibu in the Summer of 2008 to work on their latest record, the “Mental Image EP” with legendary producer Geza X (best known for his work with many early and influential LA punk bands including THE DEAD KENNEDYS, THE GERMS, BLACK FLAG, and THE AVENGERS), and Paul Roessler of SCREAMERS, TWISTED ROOTS and 45 GRAVE. The nine-song EP is chock full of memorable hooks and perfectly exhibits the band’s new-wave inspired sound that straddles the line between retro and postmodern. It also features several remixes by high-profile artists including MACUTCHI, MIKE LANGE and DJ F. Song themes cover such topics as unrealized love, obsession, and self-doubt, but lead singer Rio’s carefully calculated lyrics are sharp, shooting and sophisticated. The EP’s two singles, “Pitiless Friend” and “Metrosexual”, feature the driving rhythms, icy synth-wave hooks, and quirky vocals for which GIRLS ON FILM have become known. Overall, the “Mental Image EP” combines a rhythmic, sensual whiff of nostalgia with progressive ideas and is a surprisingly modern-sounding album that brings a rock-and-roll attitude back to dance music.

“The Easter Island Phenomenon” can be compared to the symptom of a disease that has existed since the beginning of mankind. As an artist that is not isolated from contemporary world history, ASCHE has devoted the title of his third full length album on the Ant-Zen label to this phenomenon. Anger, fear and anxiety are brilliantly converted into eleven powerful compositions that range from pounding rhythmic industrial anthems to menacing dark ambient soundscapes – a threatening journey between distorted disco and noise brutality. Besides the album tracks, seven like minded artists have been drafted in to reconstruct ASCHE’s message via exciting remixes (which have been added onto the cd in mp3 format) for a total of 18 tracks. All of the remix artists, except for DJ Intoner, have already been released on ASCHE’s own label (Fich-Art). This is a fantastic and long-awaited album for open minded listeners.

“Eiszeit” (‘Ice Age’), the highly anticipated new studio album from German electronic rock masters EISBRECHER, is undoubtedly their absolute masterpiece. Preceeded by a single of the same name which is already getting MASSIVE airplay and heavy rotation in the goth/EBM clubs, the album is eagerly anticipated.
EISBRECHER (the successor to the very popular German EBM/gothic act MEGAHERZ) have gained an amazing reputation within the scene and are today one of the most successful electronic rock/gothic bands around. They achieved massive success with their album “Sünde” in 2008: the album and its preceeding single “Kann denn Liebe Sünde Sein” both very quickly became huge and secured a sensational #18 for “Sünde” in Germany’s official album charts! With “Eiszeit” they have without a doubt moved on to the next level – another classic album that will bring the clubs to the boil. Centred around TV celebrity Alexx Wesselsky (who is the host of a very popular car-pimp show), this is a band that knows exactly what the audience wants.
The next goal in EISBRECHER’s mission is clear: “Eiszeit” is dawning. Expect a groovy, electronic/industrial album that will amaze fans of bands such as RAMMSTEIN and OOMPH!, but on the other hand that will fascinate with the typical trademarks and the unique identity of EISBRECHER. Prepare for another Ice Age…
This limited dipak edition of the album contains three bonus tracks.

Founded in 1999 by the artist Steven Archer and the author Donna Lynch, the name originates from the novel “Dune” from Frank Herbert’s series of the same name. “Breedless” is the fourth album from this American duo, as well as their first release on Dependent. EGO LIKENESS have ascended from their technoid, organic, trip-hop origins and evolved into a darker electronic dimension with each ensuing album. The earlier comparisons with bands like CURVE and COLLIDE can no longer be applied to “Breedless”, as the duo’s work has taken on a much broader and darker spectrum, switching between soft female chants and a much louder vocal style filled with tormented energy. Despite its variable speeds and volumes, the album is always emotionally charged, whilst the lyrics consider the darkness of our human psyche. In retrospect, it is obvious that EGO LIKENESS have consistently increased their standard of productivity. An amazing fourth album!

After quite a wait since PAINBASTARD’s last album “Borderline” (released in September 2007), now finally a new album is in the starting blocks entitled “Kriegserklärung” (‘Declaration of War’).
On the all new album, Leipzig-based German act PAINBASTARD, aka Alex P, further develops his very individual style without losing any of its severity or hardness. The thirteen new tracks on “Kriegserklärung” represent a relentless work of maturity and originality.
In addition to the thirteen songs on the regular CD, the precious limited digipak edition will contain a full-length bonus disc with fourteen previously unreleased tracks from the years 1998-2001, taken from CDs (“Just Like Dying” and “Mindevolution”), that the band produced prior to the release of their official debut “Skin on Fire” on Accession Records in 2003.

“Memoria” is LOST AREA’s third album and features rhythmic and futuristic electronic soundscapes in the best tradition of VNV NATION or early FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY, combined with touching vocals and lyrics. With the unique and variable voice of frontman Markus Bär, Andi Grundler’s raw dark voice, and concisely guitar tunes, LOST AREA define their own style of electro/EBM. With this release, the band has shown a noticeable development in composition and production sound quality, resulting in a highly ambitious, catchy and danceable album. Gerrit Thomas (FUNKER VOGT), a well known producer, is responsible for the crystal clear and powerful sound. Gerrit’s influence on the album, with his ideas and sound concepts, has improved the overall quality and extracted the full potential of the three-piece band. One result of this collaboration is the club-hit potential of songs like “Lies” – and many others.

“Selected” features a selection of classic RECOIL tracks chosen by Alan Wilder himself, who says: “The collection is made up of my personal favourites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience.”
RECOIL was born in 1986 as a two-track experimental EP, and four albums have followed since. Over the course of the last ten years Alan has been ably accompanied by Paul Kendall who brings his own idiosyncratic view to the whole procedure. He has also been fortunate enough to cement working relationships with many writers, vocalists and musicians, most of whom appear on this new release.
The limited edition 2CD version of “Selected” will feature a second disc including many new remixes and alternative versions, again chosen and edited together by Alan and Paul Kendall.

SHIV-R from Australia are a breath of fresh air in the field of dark electronic music. The heavy and unsettling atmosphere generated by the band is at times intended for the clubs, and at times drawn to a slow, grinding pace for full dramatic impact. The key characteristics of the SHIV-R sound are haunting, neoclassical melodies, harsh percussive club sounds, clean male vocals delivered in shouts and whispers, sparse rhythm guitars and an overwhelming dark atmosphere. The duo consists of Lee Bulig and Pete Crane, both collaborating on the music whilst Pete takes up main vocal duties.
The two members have already built up an impressive discography prior to starting this project: Lee Bulig is the solo mastermind of projects STARK, through which he has released two albums and one MCD on GUP, and NEON WOMB, releasing one album on Cranial Fracture Recordings. Pete Crane is responsible for creating all music for THE CRYSTALLINE EFFECT, releasing two albums and one MCD on different labels, and PLAGUE SEQUENCE, with one MCD and one album released on digital labels.
SHIV-R are soon to become THE new force in electronic club music!

MENSCHDEFEKT was established in Germany as a solo project of Dominik R. in 2004. In February of 2009, Fredrik became a permanent member of the lineup, as lyricist and vocalist. Stylistically the sound mainly moves between electro, industrial and gothic. However, MENSCHDEFEKT are also influenced by different genres such as trance, futurepop and others. The lyrics are deliberately constructed to be socially critical and provocative in order to reflect the name ‘Menschdefekt’. Fredrik’s vocals are aggressive, and usually significantly distorted. The lyrics deal with such topics as war, nationalism/ fascism, murder, consumer consumption and our wasteful society. The human psyche plays a major role in the development of the lyrics. Movie quotes placed in the songs add to their bizarre quality, conveying a sense of insanity and absurdity.
MENSCHDEFEKT’s first album, “Realitaetsverlust” was produced and distributed in 2006, as the result of request from a friend’s request for the album to be made. The second album “Degeneration” followed in the middle of 2007, showcasing even clearer song structures and a more sophisticated sound. MENSCHDEFEKT went on to win the AESTHETIC PERFECTION Remix Contest in March of 2008 with their version of “Schadenfreude” should have appeared on the album “A Violent Emotion”, but the bonus CD which was expected to contain the remix was never published by Bractune/Out of Line (although the remix does appear on the Japanese Limited Edition of the album from Death Watch Asia).
Since gaining first place in this remix competition, MENSCHDEFEKT’s popularity has risen astronomically. The song “Stalingrad” was created in late summer of 2008, from the mutual cooperation between MENSCHDEFEKT, STAHLNEBEL and BLACK SELKET, and proved to be MENSCHDEFEKT’s much-needed breakthrough. The track was soon playing across the dancefloors, and in a flash national as well as international clubs had jumped on the bandwagonIt is also played on different webradio programs. In August 2009 MENSCHDEFEKT finally got signed to Infacted Recordings for the release of their first official album, “The Human Parasite”.

Born out of a love for the amalgamation of music and computers by bands such as THE PRODIGY, THE CHEMICAL BROTHERS, FEAR FACTORY, FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, KILLING JOKE, RAMMSTEIN, KRAFTWERK and NITZER EBB, B.O.S.C.H. stands for absolutely no rules in making music.
B.O.S.C.H. is ‘difference’ – every time and everywhere. That difference can be heard in each of the band’s new tracks.
