Aurora Borealis new releases – Sutekh Hexen And Andrew Liles, The Haxan Cloak, etc.

SUTEKH HEXEN and ANDREW LILES ‘Breed In Me The Darkness’ CD is now up for preorder here. This incredible and complex release will see full release on March 11th 2013 on Aurora Borealis as deluxe CD gatefold with spot UV varnish, limited to 500 copies. We are proud to offer two package deals with different T shirts, limited to 13 and 33 copies only. Digital will also be available. The vinyl is being handled by Pesanta Urfolk.

We are also overjoyed to release a brand new AB records T shirt designed by the marvelous TIN CAN FOREST. Limited to a run of just 30, this is available to preorder here.

MRTYU! ‘Witchfucker’. The return of the mysterious New Zealand cult. Released as a very special vinyl, limited to just 155, and also as a cassette, limited to just 40. Limited numbers of both remain, and both formats come with a mini art zine of suitably gnostic imagery.

MICROMELANCOLIE and SINDRE BJERGA ‘Prayer Calls’. An amazing work from two great underground musical explorers, using modified field recordings, dictaphone tape manipulation, non-input mixing board feedback and computer processing to create an incredible three track album for Aurora Borealis. Released as a CD in Arigato pack limited to just 200 and as a download.

ZAC KEILLER’s remarkable ‘For The Soul’ will finally be released on CD, 2LP and download in early 2013. Preorder for that in the coming weeks. We have some other amazing releases in the works for 2013, more news as it becomes available.

We have moved our webshop to Bandcamp. This allows for releases to come with instant downloads (where apropriate), for listening to samples from all releases. We will also be putting some out of print material up for streaming and/or free downloads. It also allows us to more easily offer you discount codes from time to time, as well as accurate shipping costs. We hope that you enjoy the new shop format.
