Kill The Dandies! – Those Who Hold The Flame

KTD!’s ingredients for this leathal sonic cocktail are sixties‘ garage rock with thick layers of hammonds, analog synths and wild guitar bites. Their sources of inspiration run deep, from The Cramps-esque psychotic rock’n’roll, Lee Hazelwood’s loli-poppy country ballads, The Velvet Underground’s unbrushed rawness, to Phil Spector’s noisy wall of sound. Maybe this is why KTD! are so sweet and dangerous at the same time.
The album contains eight original songs and a superb cover version of The King of Kalifornia which was originally played by Rowland S. Howard. This album has risen many excited reactions in the Czech Republic and is impatiently awaited abroad. It´s gonna be released and distributed by Pale Music Int. and it is going to be published via Blass Music/Freibank. A European tour is planned for this autumn.
