ANEMONE TUBE Death Over China CD  12,00 eur
“Using field recordings, collected in Nanjing and Shanghai in 2007, ANEMONE
TUBE creates an unsettling yet intriguing, apocalyptic soundtrack with a
sinister atmosphere and a depressive undertone – a unique blend of dark
ambient, post industrial and power electronics in the tradition of European
industrial music.”Death over China” is the second part of “The Suicide
Series”, for which field recordings provide a conceptional basis. In a
poetic way ANEMONE TUBE combines analytical realism of the phenomenal world
with buddhist psychology and nihilist rhetoric influenced by the works of
Michael Haneke, Hayao Miyazaki, H.P. Lovecraft and Yukio Mishima. All music
recorded between July 2007 and December 2009. Mastered by JAMES PLOTKIN
2010.” Very nice special package.

ARTEFACTUM Foxgloves & Bluebells CD 12,00 eur
“Lie down on the soft summer grass, deep in the woods just before twilight,
and perhaps you will be lucky enough to encounter some good-natured tiny
beings of pleasing appearance. Under their spell you may want to fall
asleep, but you may also want to… dance!  Being one of the very few
representatives of what might be labelled as feminine ambient music,
Artefactum remains the embodiment of unique characteristics: deep and warm
ambient intertwined with sounds of nature, ritual bells, remote drumming and
sensual vocals – in the case of Artefactum you simply can’t mistake the
music for any other artist’s work. Merissa d’Erlette’s new opus “Foxgloves &
Bluebells” has at last taken its final shape after five long years since the
release of “Rosarium Hermeticum” – her last full-length album. The music is
richer and more varied than anything else she has ever made – while still
within the borders of ambient, the release contains at the same time a
collection of beautiful songs inspired by old poetry and mysterious
folklore.”

AURAL RAGE A Nature Of Nonsense CD 13,00 eur
I have always made dark sounds, from the sounds created for “Windowpane”, to
the Timestretched digiridoos of “Further back and faster” for Coil, From the
Chopped up Speech of Nine Inch Nails “Gave up”, to the Dark Intro of ”
“Closer” by Nin ( As used on the Film Seven). From the Twisted re sampled
sounds of The Black light district Album, to the Soft but haunting sin waves
on “baby food” . From the Twisted metal sounds on the coil remix of “Rush” –
Depeche Mode to the Strings on a “Cold cell” Dark sounds seem to be
something I just happen to make. But with so many audio re makers NOW around
( like Cyclobe etc, etc) I decided to to take yet another path and combine my
Audio sounds with anything I fancied, and thus hope to create something
Unique, out of it’s time, maybe having no time. I was determined to make
each song ring with real feeling, also I wanted to break free of the chains
us Sampler users have inflicted on ourselves . At first at the beginning of
sampling we sampled silly noises and made tunes, then we twisted noises and
made tunes, now I feel we can twist soundtracks and make anything we want.
This resulted in a project which has taken the best Part of two years to
complete, after all how to marry the Absurd with the dark Anybody who heard
my vocal samples in “Exploding Frogs” Knows I have a sense of the absurd, so
with this in mind the project began . On this project You’ll hear anything
from Steven Hawkin waxing lyrically over getting wood, to george Bush giving
4th grade girls to the taliban. But aside from the absurd there is an other
element here. The death of Jhon Balance has made the songs he sung ,all the
more poignant. One song had been pulled from the ether ( a lost vocal sung
through an obliteration box, years ago , thanks to the power of the modern
processors, was un processed and delivered clean to be used in a new song ”
Make room for the Mushrooms” The other song ” Fj Nettlefold” Is One of
Jhons’ last ever recordings, In fact I had been on at him for Months to sing
it, no sooner was it done, then it seemed like he was gone. Also on here is
a haunting lullaby on incest , sung by Joanna de Seyne , ” No one needs to
Notice” a beautiful song sung about an absurd subject So the album is not
only Celebration of the absurd, but contains emotions of all Human
experience

The artwork will be personal to me in some way, be it family artwork or

ALVA NOTO / RYOCHI SAKAMOTO Summvs CD 17,00 eur
‘Summvs’ is the fifth and purportedly final collaborative album from the
dream-team of Ryuichi Sakamoto and Carsten Nicolai (aka Alva Noto). Since
2002 the two musicians have fused their disciplines near-faultlessly, with
Sakamoto’s evocative piano-based compositions melting effortlessly into
Nicolai’s skillful digital rhythms and cautious manipulations. Each album
has brought the duo slightly closer together, and ‘summvs’ (the title an
amalgamation of the words summa and versus) sees their work reach critical
mass. With Sakamoto apparently working on a rare piano (one of only fifteen
in the world) using 16th interval tuning, and Nicolai expanding on his
newfound love of harmony and melody, the results are much warmer than their
earlier experiments, and all the better for it. While Nicolai’s glacial
digital hiccups were always a draw for some, I found at times they
distracted from the focus of the pieces – and here rather than eliminate
them altogether Nicolai tempers them, working them into a more harmonic
framework. The familiar bass-heavy shuffle we fell in love with all those
years ago on ‘Transform’ still crops up occasionally, most noticeably on
‘Pioneer IOO’, but it’s balanced by an unforgettable cinematic haze of
‘Naono’ (a clear standout – think Deaf Center, Ben Frost or The Fun Years)
and ‘Halo’. There is something elegiac and deeply final about ‘summvs’, it
feels like an ink stamp, an underline, a statement from the duo saying ‘this
is it, and this is the best it can be’, and it truly is. Memorable,
atmospheric and beautiful – even if you’ve missed all four of their previous
albums, ‘summvs’ is the one to buy.

BIOSPHERE N-Plants CD 13,00 eur
Geir Jenssen writes: “Early February 2011: Decided to make an album inspired
by the Japanese post-war economic miracle. While searching for more
information I found an old photo of the Mihama nuclear plant. The fact that
this futuristic-looking plant was situated in such a beautiful spot so close
to the sea made me curious. Are they safe when it comes to earthquakes and
tsunamis? Further reading revealed that many of these plants are situated in
earthquake-prone areas, some of them are even located next to shores that
had been hit in the past by tsunamis. A photo of Mihama made me narrow down
my focus only to Japanese nuclear plants. I wanted to make a soundtrack to
some of them, concentrating on the architecture, design and localizations,
but also questioning the potential radiation danger (a cooling system being
destroyed by a landslide or earthquake, etc). As the head of the Nuclear and
Industrial Safety Agency said: “the plants were so well designed that ‘such
a situation is practically impossible’. The album was finished on February
13th. On March 17th I received the following message from a Facebook friend:
‘Geir, some time ago you asked people for a photo of a Japanese nuclear
powerplant. Is this going to be the sleeve of your new coming album? But
more importantly: how did you actually predict the future? Kind regards,
David.'” TOUCH

BLOOD AXIS Ultimacy (1991-2011) CD 14,00 eur

March of Brian Boru 5. Follow Me Up to Carlow 6. Der gefallene Engel 7.

Ages 10. Electricity 11. Life 12. Eternal Soul (Germania Mix) 13. The Storm
Before the Calm 14. Walked in Line Ultimacy (1991-2011) brings together on
one CD the definitive versions of all the singles and compilation tracks
released by Blood Axis during the first two decades since the project was
founded. Packaged in an elegant digifile case designed by Davide Maspero and
Max Ribaric of the Italian underground journal Occidental Congress, and
expertly re-mastered by Blood Axis member and renowned studio engineer
Robert Ferbrache, Ultimacy presents these rare tracks in their ideal form,
exactly as the band itself has always heard and envisioned them. The songs
appear in a reverse chronological order, beginning with more recent work and
moving back through time to the distant past. Blood Axis has never been
bound to a particular style of music, and this is amply demonstrated here
with material that spans from aggressive folk rock to atmospheric ritual
pieces, all the way to menacing electronica. The topical themes of these
songs encompass European folklore; early 20th-century German occultism;
Norse and Perso-Roman mythology; fatalism, militarism, and Nietzschean
romanticism. In addition to the three core Blood Axis members-Michael
Moynihan, Robert Ferbrache, and Annabel Lee-the songs on Ultimacy also
feature a number of notable guest contributors including Stephen Flowers
(Edred Thorsson), Boyd Rice (Non), Thomas Thorn (Slave State / My Life with
the Thrill Kill Kill Kult / Electric Hellfire Club), and Markus Wolff
(Waldteufel). Blood Axis has always elicited strong, polarized reactions and
a fair dose of controversy that still lingers to the present day. Ultimacy
provides a unique opportunity for both the initiated and the uninitiated to
explore the history of an influential an uncompromising musical project that
refuses to be categorized or contained, and which always operates according
to its own rules. “A thunderstorm was in our sky, the nature which we are
grew dark-for we had no road.”STORM RECORDS

result of a collapsing mental health! Yet, we cannot escape the fact that
these 27 tracks are both of a fascinating and intriguing nature, but also
that these utterly dark industrial cadaverous sounds will push your mood
down to a risky level even for the more sane listener (if any…). Well, You

black mind and a bleeding heart. This is what makes the sound of Roger

CYCLOBE Wounded Galaxies Tap At The Window CD 14,00 eur
CD version! Essentially a duo comprising Ossian Brown and Stephen Thrower,
Cyclobe have created a thrilling and compelling collection of music, which
moves effortlessly from realms of cavernous cacophony to moments of blissful
delicacy. The first new CYCLOBE music to surface since their ‘death-concrét’
missile ‘Paraparaparallelogrammatica’ (an album made in collaboration with
NURSE WITH WOUND), “Wounded Galaxies” showcases major new developments, with
contributions from Thighpaulsandra, John Contreras, Cliff Stapleton and
Michael J. York. Together, they’ve created an immersive pan-psychedelic
dream warren, rich in detail and surprise. “Wounded Galaxies” front cover
features a stunning artwork by the renowned American artist Fred Tomaselli.
Thrower and Brown are well known for their work in the legendary group COIL,
as well as UnicaZürn, The Amal Gamal Ensemble and Current 93. With ‘Wounded
Galaxies’, the group has not only produced their finest and most ambitious
work to date, they’ve created an album which can stand tall with the year’s
most innovative and exciting releases.

CONTAGIOUS ORGASM Corporal CD 11,00 eur
This time around, it’s not an old album which gets re-released by Industrial
Recollections, but several tracks (five long ones, to be more precise) that
Contagious Orgasm had had on compilations over the years. The focus is
clearly more on distortion than usual, but the tracks are also more compact,
going to the point faster than on this artist’s full length album. It all
sounds clearly dirtier and grittier than Contagious Orgasm’s recent works,
and is more a document in the truest sense, showcasing an older, less known
side of this musician.

DER BLUTHARSCH/DEUTSCH NEPAL Apocalyptic Climax CD 9,00 eur
In 1999 “Apöcalyptic Climäx 2″ was the result of mutual collaboration of the
leading martial\industrial\ambient formations Der Blutharsch ? Deutsch
Nepal. The state of despair and hopelessness is the main leitmotif of this
music. Death floating in the uncertainty, death as the basic obsession
standing behind all your thoughts and feelings-the monotonous and cold
language and fixed scenes. Albin Sunlight Julius & Lina Baby Doll stand here
for the chroniclers of Europe , its dramatic historical way which gave rise
to the bloody outbreaks & mystical spiritual revelations-war as the
phenomenon of the human nature which is constantly testing itself for
strength. Apocalyptic despair is the leitmotif of the whole album which was
released as limited edition 10” in 1999, and which is still available on CD
as release WKN5 in the format of Digi CD by the exclusive distribution of
Eternal Pride Productions. WKN

DRONE LEBANON / WERTHAM Roma Yerushalayim CD 11,00 eur
The first five tracks on Roma & Yerushalayim come from the Israeli power

electronics act Drone Lebanon, the solo project of a musician called ch4. This is
the first Drone Lebanon to have reached this reviewer’s ears, although there have
been several previous cassette and compilation releases from 2002 onwards, and
the Drone Lebanon website contains a statement of intent which is a lot easier to
copy and paste than it is to summarise or understand, so here you go:
“Drone Lebanon supports the Apocalyptic Bourgeoisie lifestyle of escapistic Tiki
lounge epistemology and realistic survivalism ontology, exotic cocktails and
bomb shelters, occult office cubicle rituals and shopping mall transgressions,
suburban bunkers and heavy-traffic-induced road rage, middle eastern redemption through hyper-hedonism and
ultra-consumerism, outbursts of latent Jewish anxiety integrated with common
bourgeoisie atrophy.” After the wreckage has settled from Drone Lebanon’s airstrike,
it’s time for the more familiar Wertham. Marco Deplano, the project’s founder, is joined
on this recording by the industrial scene veteran John Murphy, who also performs with
Marco in Foresta Di Ferro. Although John Murphy is best known as a drummer and
percussionist, he’s credited with samples and vocals for this recording. ‘La Distruzione
Del Tempio’ is lengthy – over 15 minutes – and is more or less a monolithic, sustained blast of
full-on power electronics, with a sampled recording of the singing of carefree children
at the beginning and end, and faint traces of it sporadically surfacing though the inundation
of queasy noise. ‘Aelia Capitolina’ is a somewhat more subtle piece, with sampled
spoken-word vocals discussing God’s power, muted beats and looped brass in the
background, and industrial ambient atmospherics, adding up to an orchestral-inflected
sound not too dissimilar to Toroidh or the Polishproject Horologium. This is much more
agreeable to my ears than the abrasive strains of ‘La Distruzione Del Tempio’,
but that’s really a matter of personal taste. In any case, Roma & Yerushalayim
succeeds in delivering a good variety of different styles of noise and electronics whilst never being anything less than intense.
EMME YA Atavistic Dreams & Phallic Totems CD 12,00 eur
40 minutes of dense astral emanations and magickal paradigms transmitted
through the ritual mantras generated by Emme Ya. Emme Ya’s ‘Atavistic Dreams
& Phallic Totems’ is based on the mysterious African Dogon tribe and their
secret oral tradition. In the 1930s two anthropologists gained their trust
enough to be told these remarkable secrets. The Dogon seemed to possess
advanced astronomical knowledge beyond their means, without any instruments.
They revealed that the star Sirius was orbited by the ‘smallest and heaviest
of all stars’ and drew its elliptical orbit, which spans 50 years. This
white dwarf (Sirius B) is so invisible that the first image was only
obtained by scientists in 1970. But the Dogon also told of a third star in
the system named Emme Ya (now Sirius C). This was only discovered in 1995
and only with the use of advanced infrared imaging. The Dogon say that their
information was given to their ancestors through contact with beings from
the star system of Sirius, calling these beings Nommos or ‘the monitors of
the universe’. Cold Spring

FENNESZ Seven Stars 10inch 12,00 eur
Recorded in Studio B, Amannstudios, Vienna. Acoustic and electric guitars,
bass, synths, computers *Seven Stars features Steven Hess on drums, recorded
at Amannstudios by Christoph Amann Fennesz’s first solo release since “Black
Sea” is a 4 track 10″ vinyl, with a CD version due in September 2011. It
will also be available as a digital download. Using acoustic and electric
guitars, bass, synths, computers, Fennesz continues to engage and entrance
us in equal measure. Fennesz writes: “Seven Stars was recorded in Vienna in
January 2011. I recorded and mixed the album within 3 weeks. Liminal and
July were existing pieces which i have reworked. (I wrote an early version
of Liminal in a hotel room in Bali in 2010). There is also a version of
Liminal that I have been playing live for some time. My friend Steven Hess,
with whom I have worked before, happened to be in Vienna at the time of the
sessions, so I invited him to join me in the studio. Christoph Amann
recorded the drums using a selection of his great microphones including his
amazing new Josephson. I wanted to make a record that has a certain
lightness about it and at the same time explore new territory using drums on
one track. This might be something I will continue with in the future.”

GENOCIDE ORGAN Under Kontrakt CD 14,00 eur
The latest new Genocide Organ album dates back to 2005 – now in 2011 the
world is challenged by wellknown old and antic patterns and presumed
economic reasons. That of military contractors – whether it have been the
cretian archers, the celtic cavlery, the germanic body guards, the swiss
guards – muslim or christian motivated soldiers, spartans and greeks –
european or asian – UN – Forces or private contractors – those people always
seeked more than money – the record here deals with the overall topic of
mercenary or more. Like always Genocide Organ´s music is straight forward –
expanding all genres and categories. A powerful assault and aggressive
undertone interchanges with a dense depressive mood – all tracks are new but
have been partly played live during their last live appearance. The record
is an experience. Tracklisting: Error It´s over Forever Whore Denard Prince

HERION Out And About CD 12,00 eur
Herion is an Italian trio whose members include Emanuele Errante (known to
Hypnos customers for Humuson Evan Bartholomew’s Somnia label), Enrico

Coniglio (Aqua Dorsa project collaborator with Oophoi for the album
Cloudlands, he also released Sea Cathedrals solo on Silentes), and Elisa
Marzorati. They’ve created a beautiful and compelling combination of delicate musical
structures with “glitch” components andstrange, experimental little samples. Always a pleasant, peaceful listen,
Out and About brings a blissed-outclassical musicality into connection with an artful edge. This combination
of elements results in an especially sensitive, moving set of mood pieces. Somewhere between chamber music and
minimalism, between lightness and melancholy, this trio balances elements uncommon in ambient music. HYPNOS

I.CORAX Spectral Metabolism CD  12,00 eur
Back in stock. Kind of a pre-release before AURAL HYPNOX initiation:
Field recordings of nocturnal alien life from the lower levels of the Styx.
Deeply menacing blackened dronescapes strafed by the sounds of chains being
dragged across a cave floor. Distant tympani-like drums booming out the
opening strains of some war ritual across a bottomless midnight void. Sounds
like an Aural Hypnox release, doesn’t it? It’s not though, this disc was
released on the longrunning Finnish noise label Kaos Kontrol, who is usually
more known for putting out the most brutal power electronics and harsh noise
imaginable. But this is most definitely a collection of ambient-soundscapes
of the blackest sort, each track a whirling environment devoid of light,
filled with low, far-off rumblings and delicate minor-key synthesizer drift,
field recordings of the Finnish countryside twisted into a negative image of
perpetual twilight and manipulated sound events appearing ghostlike at the
periphery of your hearing. The vibe here is grim and doomy, an otherworldly
psychedelic experience on par with the work of Zoat-Aon, Arktau Eos, Aeoga,
Halo Manash and that entire helixes.org circle of subterranean drone
sorcerors. So it’s not at all surprising when I find out that this Finnish
duo is formed by Jaakko Vanhala (of Zoat-Aon) and Anti Ittna Haapapuro, the
guy behind Aeogo and the Aural Hypnox label himself. These guys are masters
of deep-earth ritual drone and drifting ambient heaviness, both having
worked with various ambient-doom, black metal, and occult ambient outfits in
the Finnish underground for years; they bring a studied experience to the
hour long descent into the abyss that is Spectral Metabolism. What sound
like bird calls are abstracted into eerie digital cries, sightless monks
chant endlessly in the depths, and sinister peals of what could be a massive
horn, or maybe an ancient monstrous cello-like instruments roar in the
blackness. It’s ever evolving and on the heavier end of the post-industrial
spectrum. Released in a limited edition of 1000 copies, packaged in an
oversized A5 style gatefold sleeve with stark B&W photography and occult
insignia.

IN MEDITARIUM Les Fleurs Du Mal CD-R 10,00 eur
“Another fine incarnation of the almighty Ukrainian artists of the First
Human Ferro fame. In Meditarium has that easily recognisable sound, but
makes a few steps deeper into dark atmospere of decadent joys of an
alienated human being. Some ritualistic influnces are to be heard (say
Archon Satani in the ‘Virgin Birth’ period), the rudimetary melodies fulfill
the whole setting. The lyrics deal with consensual aspects of love and
completion on the one hand, pain and and serenity on the other. James
Joyce’s lines (taken form ‘Giacomo Joyce’) constitute the final comment and
an invocative epitafium to this masterpiece…” SOULWORM

MAURIZIO BIANCHI Apokalypsis XXXIII CD 10,00 eur
“In August 2010, Maurizio Bianchi officially announced his retirement from
musical scene. “Apokalypsis XXIII” is his last ever electronic music album,
recorded in Summer of 2010. All the latest albums appeared after that are in
fact re-issues of older works or the collaborations with other artists using
his sound sources. Like other solo albums of Maurizio Bianchi, “Apokalypsis
XXIII” has religious roots and consists of four long tracks, each of those
divided into further sections titled after verses taken from “Book of
Revelation”, the most mysterious and most scary part of New Testament. Many
artists found the inspiration around these themes, apocalyptical images were
used by painters and sculptors during the crisis periods of mankind history:
Middle Ages, Renascence, end of XIX century etc. Hopefully, this album will
drive attention to the world around us, and especially if keeping in mind
the most recent accidents and disasters, these days it becomes more actual
than ever. CD comes in golden foil embossed cover.” NITKIE

MOLNIJA AURA Utopian Suns CD  10,00 eur
“Utopian Suns” is Molnija Aura first full-length album. Recorded and
mastered between 2007 and 2009, the CD is inspired by science-fiction themes
and space-age relics. Consisting of six tracks created mostly with analogue
and digital synthesizers, the album is a long and engaging journey through
sidereal dephts: shrouded in the darkness of immense and untouched vastness,
beyond the great unknown, hovering in the void of zero gravity landscapes
explored with slow and unreal movements. The uneasyness of silence and the
absolute void of impenetrable gloom, the infinite and overwhelming
distances, the fear of solitude and isolation, the anxiety of no return. And
then the emotion of discovery: other worlds, unknown universes and
impalpable beings, undefined and unidentifiable entities, close encounters,
the unutterable and the unthinkable. TOPHETH

MUSLIMGAUZE Beirut-Transister CD 13,00 eur
One of the Muslimgauze albums the world was waiting for, Beirut Transister
is among the more organic and ‘Arab’ of releases and bound to compliment any
fan’s collection. Fundamentally in the traditional-ethno-percussive camp of
the Muslimgauze oeuvre, the core style is raqs sharqi/baladi (traditional
belly dancing) and is at home with titles like Observe With Sadiq Bey and
especially Jebel Tariq. Though tracks can be recognized from parts of the
latter, these are alternate versions and where Jebel is a continuous set,
each track on Beirut stands alone. This album delves into raqs sharqi/baladi
as tempo and density of rhythm shift from simpler patterns to vigorous
cascades of lush layered tabla that vary from song to song and charm the
listener. Few artists can deconstruct and reassemble centuries-old
tradition, then edit it into near seamless perfection while not falling into
musical cliché. For instance, “Find Yugoslav butcher of Muslims”, arranges a
percussive raqs sharqi ensemble into hip hop style beats with raunchy oud,
that still sounds fresh and exciting. Another editing marvel is how field
recording samples are choreographed with the obsessive detail of a radio
drama and brings a strong sense of narrative. While the tablas bring kinetic
energy, Arab voices intone religious recitation; call brusquely over
megaphones while women and men sing or murmur dimly in backgrounds. Not
stopping there, additional ethno-instrumentation such as reeds, lute
fragments and chorus’ of other Mid-Eastern winds ornament the tracks.
“Soufaf in Gulf” transports one into dusty Arab villages and markets
(perhaps even in south Lebanon) as the ambient clop-clopping of passing
horses and rushing shrill play of children mingle with melodica loops and
artfully placed car horns and megaphone calls. A further detail is the
infusion of roots reggae dub elements such as the occasional tight melodica
loops, staggered-echo-instrumental bits, and then the bass… It is the bass
that deserves special mention as it is unlike most Muslimgauze releases.
Whereas bass coils like an anaconda through albums like Remixs 1, 2 and 3
and Cobra Head Soup, it powerfully tremors through Beirut Transister like a
force of nature. Few Muslimgauze recordings have the bass so powerfully
pronounced; melodic, yet massively shifting like tectonic plates. A case in
point is “Egyptian Song Contest” where a short Arabic phrase prefaces
provocative metallic hand drum textures and relentless earthquake bass and
screeching shortwave radio feedback. The masters for Beirut Transister were
submitted in 1998, at the zenith of the late Bryn Jones’ technical skill
where he no longer was influenced by styles so much as ‘owning’ and then and
spawning his own. Abu Dub Step Bryn Jones, father of dubstep, is still the
unparalleled master and this is one of the summits.” Ibrahim Khider, author
of “Muslimgauze: Chasing the Shadow of Bryn Jones” LIM. 700,

ONIROT Avgusta Tavrinorivm CD  9,00 eur
“There’s very little information on this one, so a brief summary will have
to do. What you’ll find here is a combination of cinematic (as in
trailer-style sped-up sound effects) dark ambient and horror movie synth
soundtrack. Despite minor production limitations (not everyone can be an
instant Lustmord when doing sound design), there’s a definite “demon in the
cellar” B-movie charm to this.”

REDROT Psycho Bondage LP 20,00 eur
“BloodLust! is pleased to present “Psycho Bondage,” the cruel new LP from
Redrot, and the follow-up to this intensely morbid artist’s 2009 7-inch
single, “Deviant” (B!109), one of the fastest selling and most revered
releases on the label. With this record, Ryan Oppermann — A.K.A. The
Rotbrain — who also records under the names Fabrico Incubo, Klinikal Skum,
Narcoleptic Ward, Neuntöter Der Plage, Post-Mortem Junkie, and Xombie — has
raised the Redrot moniker to a heightened level of savage necro-nihilism. As
with the aforementioned single, “Psycho Bondage” straddles a hazy line
between death-industrial, power-electronics, crust/sludge, and a more
ferocious take on minimal synth. Early industrial culture echoes strongly
throughout the album, yet Oppermann evolves a new sonic architecture over
the lineage that he has previously traced, from S.P.K. – to Nekrophile
Rekords – to Brighter Death Now and the early Cold Meat Industry acts – and
to Atrax Morgue and the core Slaughter Productions roster. On this album,
the more passive, eerie menace that he has previously traded in is further
left to his other incarnations, allowing Oppermann to focus on a bass-heavy
amalgamation of vicious power and pure, seething aggression. Pressed in an
edition of 525 copies. Black vinyl. Black and white labels. 33 RPM.
Full-color sleeves manufactured by Imprint. Protective poly outer-sleeves.
Design by Malsonus (A.K.A. Jonathan Canady of Angel of Decay, Dead World,
Deathpile, Nightmares).” BLOODLUST

SEWER GODDESS Disciples Of Shit – Live Waste CD 12,00 eur
After the huge success of last year’s “With Dirt You Are One”, Boston based
cultists Sewer Goddess return with “Disciples of Shit: Live Waste”; a fetid
and raw collection of live audio crimes committed over a 2-year period from
2009-2010. Anyone who has witnessed Sewer Goddess live will know what to
expect here, which is a more structured take on the death industrial,
squalor filled atmospheres they’re known for. A more traditional band format
adds layers of distorted and skuzzy bass, crashing percussion, and
discordant guitar and meets head on with terrifying, blood curdling screams
and the requisite churning mass of postmortem, electronic dirge. 5 tracks,
most previously unreleased, that represent Sewer Goddess in the most raw,
unclean, and unpolished of states! Malignant

SKULLFLOWER Fucked On A Pile Of Corpses CD 12,00 eur
The most remorseless, brutal Skullflower ever! Alternating between granular
lo-fi primitive rock and granular lo-fi primitive Power Electronics, this
taut disc is a chain mail glove of hate to any lazy minds who’ve tainted the
air with describing Skullflower as ‘psychedelic’. But that’s not to say this
is an all out total assault. There are also moments of tender acoustic
balladry, its just that they don’t exist. The remorseless brutal sound is
primitive, but as detailed and rich as a blood soaked medieval canvas,
somewhere betwixt The Rita and Clandestine Blaze, but more brutal! Long live
the New Flesh! Kether is in Malkuth, Malkuth is in Kether, but in a
different way. Cold Spring

SUBKLINIK Musik For Dekomposition CD 13,00 eur
The style of music on Musik for Dekomposition is somewhere between The
Slaughterhouse era Brighter Death Now and the sounds of the more synthesizer
based N. A very good starting point. I wouldn’t say Dekomposition is really
aggressive at any point, the devil is in the details in these more minimal
compositions. The album clocks in at just over 30 minutes Subklinik makes
use of every minute here. The sounds on Dekomposition are usually repetitive
synth structures with ranging from more rhythmic lo-fi synth lines (Flesh
Dekomposition) to more atmospheric outings (Dekomposition II) and finally to
some lonely wallowing throbs in Extraktion Procedure

THOMAS KÖNER Nunatak Teimo Permafrost 3xCD 27,00 eur
Very Special triple CD edition featuring Thomas Köner’s seminal first three
albums newly mastered by the artist himself and housed in a gorgeous triple
panel Digiifile package. The three albums have been long unavailable on CD
and were originally released between 1992 and 1993 and are considered
classics of the Dark Ambient/Drone genre* Following on from three limited
vinyl editions, Type now proudly presents a triple CD package including the
first three, long unavailable and newly mastered albums from influential
drone sounscapist Thomas Köner. Since the release of these three albums in
the early 90’s Köner has gone on to enjoy something akin to a cult status
among musicians of all dispositions. His CV boasts not only a series of
seminal albums under his own name but also membership of acclaimed Chain
Reaction duo Porter Ricks and, more recently, a number of works that have
seen him occupy a respected position in the installation and sound art
worlds. Through the careful and measured use of gongs (recorded in different
rooms and underwater) as well as homemade wind instruments, Köner’s early
work has become a cornerstone of the genre and part of a tryptich of records
which have never been bettered. After far too many years in the out-of-print
wilderness, it’s a source of immense satisfaction to finally be able to
share this incredibly dark, immersive music with the world once again. An
essential purchase.

TOMAS PHILLIPS/LUIGI TURRA Vignettes Amplife CD  11,00 eur
“New age might be a word that one could apply to an album that involves

shakuhachi and prayer bowls, as on this disc by Tomas Phillips and Luigi Turra.
They are both also credited for the use of laptop. And obviously this is not a work
of new age. The music is simply not ‘easy’ enough, but it surely hints at a more
zen-like experience of listening. Things are stretched out, quiet and peaceful.
There are some highly obscured sounds from the world of electro-acoustics,
long sustaining sounds on the bowl and the flute, the more than obvious crackles,
which seem to belong to this micro-world. Three pieces, all around eleven to
fourteen minutes, which all need their time to peacefully and calmly enroll their story.
A fine work of microsound.” (Vital Weekly). Ltd x 500 copies in a digisleeve.

V.A. SPIRE  Live in Geneva Cathedral St. Pierre 2xCD   16,00 eur
The second release in the Spire series [cf Spire, organ works past, present
& future, Touch # Tone 20, 2004] is more than a document of ‘Spire Live’,
which took place as part of La Batie 2004, at St. Pierre Cathedral, Geneva,
on 5th September 2004. Curated by Eric Linder, from La Batie, and Mike
Harding, the dynamism of the event, where the audience rotated between 3
separate venues within the Cathedral precinct, is reflected in the
individual recordings: Philip Jeck goes heavy metal in the crypt: BJNilsen
comes over all moody in the side chapel, and Fennesz soothes and seduces in
the same place. All this is set up by Charles Matthews and Marcus Davidson
on the main organ [4 manifolds, computer operated] which dominates the time
and place. Davidson plays Gorécki’s extraordinary Kantata for organ, [full
stops on max employed here] which segués into BJNilsen’s ultra-heavy live
organ and electronics next door. This follows Charles Matthews’s excellent
renditions of pieces by Jolivet and Alexandra which, as the text by Thierry
Charollais says: “The event seemed provoking and iconoclastic in contrast to
the severe and austere atmosphere of the cathedral. Though some of the
musical pieces were audacious, the music focused mainly on spirituality. It
generated a different perception of the organ pieces, thus modifying our
perception of the cathedral and making the event truly exceptional.”
And to finish, Fennesz soothed us with sound. His set evoked the rolling
centuries in all their pain and beauty, leaving us at once becalmed and
energised, but never oppressed under the weight of time.
Feat:  Fennesz, BJNilsen, Philip Jeck, Marcus Davidson, André Jolivet, Liana
Alexandra, Henryk Gorécki.

V.A. SPIRE Organ works past, present and future 2x CD  16,00 eur
1st fruits of collaboration between Fennesz and Sparklehorse – recorded in
Geneva by Christian Fennesz and Scott Minor * Touch regulars Biosphere,
Philip Jeck, Benny Nilsen [Hazard], Chris Watson… * Newcomers include US
free music composer and designer Tom Recchion, UK’s Scott Taylor, Icelandic
artists Finnbogi Petursson and Sigtryggur Berg Sigmarsson, and one of
Sweden’s premier performance artists Leif Elggren [The Sons of God, Firework
Edition Records etc.], and one of the Kings of Elgaland-Vargaland * UK
finest organist Charles Matthews and classical composer Marcus Davidson *
Highly regarded Japanese field recordist Toshiya Tsunoda The story: The
thought of producing a compilation where the tracks were all either inspired
by or more directly influenced by the organ had been frequently aired over
the years. The conversations were always animated and expansive. The organ
works of Arvo Pärt, those performed by Christopher Bowers-Broadbent, a pupil
of Richard Rodney Bennett at the Royal Academy of Music in London, and
others, have reached a wider non-classical audience. Eventually Benny Nilsen
arranged to visit St. Mary’s Church, Warwick and work with one of England’s
finest, Charles Matthews. Crawling around inside the instrument, positioning
microphones most appropriately in the Church, or ‘capturing’ the psalms
composed by Marcus Davidson, Nilsen explored the possibilities with all the
familiar lust of the avant-garde. As the brief widened, so did the
responses… some contributors referred to earlier versions of the organ and
its often highly political usage, others explored aged instruments
themselves. Some studied the effects of the sounds produced on the physique
and the psyche, others conceptualised the brief and either built their own
or recorded natural or man-made phenomena which utilised the same basic
process, wind through pipes. The organ represents the marriage between
acoustic complexity and ritualised space. It is impossible not to be drawn
upward, towards the spire of the church or cathedral, or to the huge and
daunting forest of pipes themselves. The organ dwarfs all comers, and unlike
other instruments, it is this non-musical element which makes the organ
stand apart.

the series made by Stalnoy Pakt (a 10″ and a split CD with Anthesteria) this

Z´EV The Deep Path CD 11,00 eur
A monumental album featuring three impressive tracks in which Z’EV (mythical
avant-garde experimental artist, percussion master and world wide
performer), collects and exhibits brave and incredible sonic solutions,
mixing and alternating enormous, deep and sometimes exploding and
devastating sound masses based on low frequencies, to noisy metallic sounds,
gongs and cymbal stratification… all oriented in temporary resounding
“tunnels”, where sonic elements are mixed through suggestive cyclic echoes
and reverberations, infinite pauses, joining and integrating to other sonic
tracks, for an important and unique listening experience. SILENTES
