| That’s right, the Gang would like to work with you on a new official T-shirt design. They’ve supplied some parts including logo’s and band photos to get you started which can be downloaded here. The way you use them; Avante Garde, Surrealist, Cubist, Nudist, is entirely up to you.
The best five designs as judged by the band will go up on the Pledge and GoF websites, with the overall winner’s being immortalised in a run of Tees to be made available by Pledge. In other news, due to supply outstripping demand the Gang have added some more delicious goodies to their Pledge site. These include 10 signed and numbered white label vinyls complete with lyric sheets and another two guitars used (and damaged!) by the band on stage. If you’d also like to see some guitars at risk from Gang of Four in the flesh then there’s always the one-off live performance and exhibition of art and artefacts at London’s ICA on June the 9th. This is a combination of a private view and gig. We invite you to join the band for drinks at their exhibition where they will unveil a series of large-scale prints, some based on classic album artwork, some brand new from the forthcoming record. These will sit alongside career-spanning photographs by some of music’s most celebrated photographers. There’s also a listening facility for you to hear the band’s first ever gig recently found on cassette by Jon. To top it off, Gang of Four will play a full set, including songs from their new album ‘Content’.
