Their profile on Discogs states that “Subjective Device is a collective, creating another perspective on life by using images and sound.” That’s what I could find, since their website seems to be down. But this sounds promising, so let’s see what we have here.
Metocin is a beautiful slab of grinding noise. A lot is happening throughout the track to keep it interesting. Harsh, but really nicely done. Metacetin is heavy drone with a gritty edge. What sounds like distorted chimes keep the beat like a heartbeat, and toward the end bits of drumming thuds its way into the track. This was really good, and well worth checking out if you like it noisy, but well composed. Nothing in this seems left to chance. Well done. This disc weighs in at around 22 minutes, and is limited to 42 copies.
