Midnight Configuration have always defied categorisation. They have always flouted musical and social conventions, rather going after their own vision and dancing to the beat of their own particular drum. This album is the distilled essence of what makes this band tick.  It is a journey through the ideas and motivations of the band and takes the listener to some very dark places indeed. In fact, at times, “the veil” between the worlds is somewhat thin and one wonders if the music is the magical catalyst that enables the transformation of our world to another……it’s 3am, a souls’ midnight and the void of darkness and beyond is at its closest and is indeed “Unquiet”. Released on Nightbreed and available September 13th, 2010.

Formed in the UK by KILLING JOKE keyboard-player Reza Udhin, INERTIA released their first MCD ‘Infiltrator’ on the German label Celtic Circle in 1995 to widespread critical acclaim. As a result of the popularity of ‘Infiltrator’, between 1995-1996 INERTIA were invited to play across Europe – including an appearance at Wave Gotik Treffen 1996. The success of their second MCD ‘Mind Energy’ and their debut album ‘Programmed To Respond’ (1997) in America led to INERTIA’s first full-length US tour, supporting DAS ICH. Since 1997, INERTIA have returned to Wave Gotik Treffen (1999), have played several lengthy headline tours of the US  (with support from acts such as TERRORFAKT and PROJECT-X), and have released a further 4 albums: ‘Negative Prime’ (1999), ‘Advanced Revelation’ (2002), ‘Black Ice Impact’ (2004), ‘Inertia’ (2007), plus 2 remix albums ‘Demagnetized/Remagnetized’ (1999), ‘Positive Angel’ (2000). In 2006, the American label Cleopatra celebrated 10 years of INERTIA’s career in the EBM-genre by releasing a 2CD ‘Best Of…’ compilation ‘Decade Of Machines’: and INERTIA returned to the US to tour again, this time with legendary German electro outfit ARMAGEDDON DILDOS. As a special bonus, the first 100 copies come as a 2CD digipak Limited Edition set including the current album ‘Inertia’ as a bonus disc: plus the 12-page booklet for ‘Inertia’, as well as the 8-page booklet for ‘Interpret’ and obi. BAK XIII is an EBM/New Wave powerhouse from Switzerland, combining modern industrial production with classic old-school EBM-sequencing: 21st Century music with punk attitude and a retro feel evidenced by song-titles like ‘80s Are Back Forever’ and ‘New Wave Party’. In Europe, BAK XIII have toured with such top names in the electro-industrial scene as SUICIDE COMMANDO, FRONT 242 and DAS ICH: and have remixed or been remixed by top artists like PSYCHE, HIV+ and THE NEON JUDGEMENT. In 2008, DWA invited BAK XIII programmer Baron Von Smock to Japan to present his ambient-industrial solo-project MUSIC FOR THE SPACE live in Osaka, Kobe and Kyoto: and as guest DJ for leading dark-scene event Tokyo Dark Castle in Shinjuku. Now with ‘Best Of BAK XIII’ DWA is proud to present a world-exclusive Japan-only ‘Greatest Hits Collection’ of BAK XIII: celebrating the prolific musical career of Switzerland’s best-known electro-industrial act! Originally formed as a duo by Baron Von Smock and DDDmix (vocals, programming) in Geneva in 2001, since 2003 BAK XIII has operated as a trio with guitarists Garf (2003-2006) and Tenebras (2007-2009) adding metal riffs to the mix. Since 2003, BAK XIII have released a new studio album almost every year: ‘In Cauda Venenum’ (2003), ‘Post Lucem Tenebrae’ (2004), ‘Morituri Te Salutant’ (2005), ‘Vae Victis’ (2006) and ‘Ultima Ratio Regum’ (2008), plus the 2006 EP ‘Dead Again’. DWA’s ‘Best Of BAK XIII’ contains a massive 20 tracks from all 5 BAK XIII albums: all personally selected by the band themselves! Under exclusive license from BAK XIII’s European label Urgence Disk Records, DWA’s ‘Best Of BAK XIII’ comes with an 8-panel folding insert detailing the entire recorded history of BAK XIII’s albums, plus 4-panel insert with Japanese linernotes about the band. And the first 200 copies of this unique album are presented in a 6-panel digipak, with artwork specially commissioned for this release! Released on Deathwatch Asia and available August 30th, 2010.

7 Years Re-Release of the compilation that covers up songs from the first seven years of NO MORE’s discography At the end of 2008 NO MORE (condensed in the duo Tina Sanudakura and Andy Schwarz) got back on stage 22 years after the band split up in the 1986. In the following NO MORE successfully played all over Europe and released their new album “Midnight People & Lo-Life Stars” in 2010. So this is the perfect time to re-release the NO MORE compilation “7 Years” (first release 1990, Germany only) and take a look at the time before their comeback. Since this was the pre-CD era and all the original vinyl releases are sold out and are hard to get nowadays, “7 Years” is a fantastic possibillity to contemplate NO MORE‘S work in the 80s. The focus lies on the last line-up (from 1984-1986) and contains, amongst others, songs from various 12″ maxi-singles, the mini-LP “Laughter In The Wings” and their final album “Hysteria”. The band called it a day during the recordings of “Hysteria” and Tina Sanudakura & Andy Schwarz recorded the song “7 Years” as a summary of these NO MORE years. And they certainly didn’t think of coming back at that time. The compilation certainly contains the original version their alltime classic “Suicide Commando” and is still part of many DJ-Sets ( This song was also remixed by DJ HELL, VITALIC, ECHOPARK) “A song that refuses to die. A couple of years after these Germans recorded this, it spread like a virus to become a cult classic. The virus is still spreading to this day.” (Optimo, UK) NO MORE refused to play their “hit” during the last two years befor splitting up, with only one exception: their farewell concert at the Old Daddy concert hall in Oberhausen, Germany. Luckily this concert was taped and therefore a live version of “Suicide Commando” can be found on here. The (newly designed) compilation comes along in two versions. The boxed version enlarges the focus especially by including “It feels like 1925” and “Dark Side Of the Town” from the highly acclaimed 1982 mini-LP ” A Rose Is A Rose”. bounus cd with four extra studio, three live songs with cover of Venus In Furs (Velvet Underground) and two remixes plus some special designed gadgets. Their latest release, ‘State of Mind’ was produced by Len Lemeire (Implant, 32Crash, Anne Clark). This multimedia CD also has remixes by Soman, Implant and Jesus on Extasy. XMH are back with a bang and are ready to grab you by the throat! Dark electro band XMH was founded in 2005 by singer/songwriter Benjamin Samson in the Netherlands. Consisting of members V. Orias A., V.V. Arkames, and V.N.A., Ad Inferna is passionate, violent, sexual and addictive. A bold mixture of Industrial, Darkwave, male and female vocals and hints of Metal, Ad Inferna gives a musical experience in a realm that no other band has ever dared to enter. Their debut album L’ Empire des Sens was released in 2002. In 2009 they released the acclaimed album Trance N’ Dance, which features 12 tracks including remixes from bands such as Reaper, Soman, Combichrist and Beborn Beton. Extremocidente proudly announces the imminent release of Death In June’s “Peaceful Snow/The Maverick Chamber” 7”. The two songs are the first new material to come to light since ‘The Rule of Thirds’. These new tracks offer not only the same radical departure from more complex song arrangements as in the previous album but this time also a departure from the use of acoustic guitar as the instrument chosen to accompany Douglas Pearce’s voice is the piano played by Miro Snejder. Some might be tempted to say this is a new direction for Death In June yet we have to disagree, as for almost 30 years this has been a ship that has maintained it’s course against all odds. This edition is limited to 880 numbered copies and comes pressed in pink vinyl and housed on a cover with embossed lettering and debossed foilblock Whiphand logo. The record comes with a lyric sheet/insert and 3 postcards. Act fast and Witness! Released on ExtremOcidente and available August 30th, 2010.

***** new from ARTOFFACT RECORDS!

“DAMN this is good. WOW.” – Dependent Forum user reaction. Join the discusssion:

Dead When I Found Her is the studio project of Portland, Oregon’s Michael Arthur Holloway, a professional electronic musician and producer who sites Skinny Puppy, Haujobb, Mentallo & the Fixer, Forma Tadre, Doubting Thomas, amongst other pioneering industrial aritsts as influences. Tracks from the debut album Harm’s Way have been the talk of music forums since they started to appear on Myspace and Soundcloud in 2009, and the attention the project has received is nothing short of impressive. The project soon found a home on Artoffact Records, and 12 tracks were selected for the debut release. Dead When I Found Her re-creates classic late-80’s/early-90’s industrial without sounding cliched, adding a modernized sonic signature to a dark and brooding foundation. Harm’s Way is the perfect album for dark music lovers. Out July 13th, 2010!
