In 2009 the US label Dark Entries reissued Eleven Pond’s only album on limited vinyl, now in 2011 it will finally be issued on compact disc via the Other Voices Records label. The CD version also contains the original “Watching Trees” video clip shot in 1986. The album cover artwork was adapted to the original LP release by Jeff Gallea and Oleg Galay.
The first 500 copies of this release come in digipak.

Eleven Pond, a new wave band from Rochester, New York, only released one LP which was released on 500 hand numbered copies in 1986 before the band disbanded. The lineup was James Tabbi (vocals, acoustic guitar), Jeff Gallea (bass, drum programs, vocals, keyboard), Jack Schaefer (electric guitar) and Dan Brumley (synths, samples, vocoder, melodica). Taking inspiration in Joy Division, early New Order, The The, and Depeche Mode the band found their own sound – a merging of melancholic post punk, synthpop and minimal electro.
