|We begin our weekend with the newest stormer on Optimo Music from the London based trio Factory Floor, and includes a remix by Optimo. The various artist series from Vlek sees its second installment today with mixes from Lapti and Squeaky Lobster. Max Cooper returns to the Cologne based Traum with his melodic “Metaphysical EP”, and Goldfish and Der Dulz bring forth a playful three track EP for Playhouse following their last work “Love Me Fender”.|
The LA-based Cosmic Kids have delivered a massive EP to Throne Of Blood. Titled “Reginald’s Groove”, expect to hear all four versions worked into DJ sets the world over – don’t miss it! The Glitz’ first long player is available today on 3000° with edits from Nick Curly, Daniel Steinberg, Kombinat100, and more. Xaver Von Treyer’s “Soul Boy Themes” have been remixed by Djingo Django, Moguh, and Roberto Auser and is available today.
Dinky, the longtime resident of Panorama Bar was recently featured in Ostgut Ton’s “Funf” compilation. She now returns to Ostgut with Take Me / Polvo. The Essen based producer Tim Querengaesser AKA Pherox takes the controls behind Dumb Unit 61 and invited Lee Curtiss to collaborate, and the leaders in deep house Dial Records are offering something a little different today from Tocotronic member Dirk Von Lowtzow and his solo guitar works.
The second edition of the Musik Gewinnt Freunde various artists collection is out now with tracks from Oliver Schorries, Nutia, and Caspian, showcasing the label’s consistent deep and melodic output. Finally, the next “Werkschau” remix package is available today on BPitch Control with edits from Cormac, Area Negrot und Kiki & Lenz.
