GOATVARGR | Black Snow Epoch CD (CSR126CD) £10 / £11 / £12
Shipping: Now
The second unholy union of Lord Nordvargr (MZ.412, Folkstorm, Toroidh etc) and Goat (USA). Time, pilgrimages and bloodlines have been bourn since the first testament of Goatvargr was witnessed in this era of false knowledge. The first covenant of Goatvargr was baleful, lycanthropic and lethiferous. A rejection of the techgnostic kingdom and circuitry idols which seduce our era. The downfall of light has brought a world of coldness. This Black Snow Epoch is a time to honour our forbearers such as MZ.412 and the elements of flesh, wood and alchemical steel. Industrial loops and analogue keyboards merge with sheet metal and chains to create a solemn winter hymn where the cold steel stings your flesh. The wolf instinctively hunts through the frost, and the goat is blamed for human transgressions, yet during the Black Snow Epoch, the true hunters will pursue. Foldout poster cover.

FIRE IN THE HEAD | Confessions Of A Narcissist CD (CSR120CD) £10 / £11 / £12
Shipping: Now
“Confessions Of A Narcissist” marks the final full-length release by Fire In The Head ending six years of sonic warfare with an assault of manic, self-indulgent industrial electronics. Drawing as much influence from early punk / hardcore as from industrial / power electronics, FI/T/H was conceived as a cathartic outlet to explore and ratify the delusions and social perversions resultant of psychosis and the darker side of man’s conflicted dual nature, to fan the flames which engulf the borders between obsession, compulsion, lust and need. The tracks on this release were recorded in 2007-2008 and are the last of the “short, sharp, shock” vocal tracks which Michael abandoned in favour of “epic” length industrial / ambient compositions. Features guest appearances from Nick Blinko (Rudimentary Peni) and J. Randall (Agoraphobic Nosebleed), with exclusive artwork from Blinko.

ALFARMANIA – ‘Bottenscrapet’ Picture Disc LP (Autarkeia) – £20 / £23 / £26
This luxurious epic release by the Swedish sound terrorist Kristian Olsson (Survival Unit), probably built a monument for the postmortem electronics. A style mainly characterised by dirt, chaos, noise and deliberate disregard for quality.  Two long tracks of Bottenskrapet album offer a hymn for the dump of human civilisation and its madness. Absolute provocation released in the heaviest pic-LP vinyl illustrated with the visualisation of the talented 21st c. collagist Kristian Olsson, whose suggestion equals that of Hieronymus Bosch’s hallucinations. ARTHUR CANTRILL – ‘Chromatic Mysteries: Soundtracks 1963-2009’ CD (Shame File Music)
– £11 / £12 / £13
A retrospective CD of experimental film maker Arthur Cantrill’s extraordinary four decades of soundtracks, including subtly-manipulated environmental recordings and some of the earliest examples of Australian musique concrete. “This CD is really a feast for the ears. The sounds are pure, not dated in a specific period and varied. Lots of his compositions are filled with the sound of birds and other nature sounds. Other compositions are made by radio sounds, piano and a female singing voice. Most of the sounds are generated by equalizers, computer, tape-recorders, playing with speed and playback. I can spend a lot of words to this release, but I will not do it, because every word is too much. Chromatic Mysteries is highly recommended and one of the best CDs of this year so far” (Vital Weekly). Liner notes by Cantrill and Warren Burt.
BIRTH! – ‘I Will’ CD (Realicide Youth Records) – £9 / £10 / £11
“After cutting his teeth as a bass player and experimenting with the industrial noise of Elephant Skull, he began making thrashy electropunk tunes under the name BIRTH!, and he’s only been getting stronger. Like some deadly combination of Test Dept and Dandi Wind, he delivers shrieked vocals and war-whoops over brutal analogue electronic beats. Between his other musical duties in Bestial Mouths and Realicide, he tours and plays punishingly energetic shows, having abandoned his apartment and job for the sounds he loves.” Ltd x 1000 copies in a digisleeve with lyric sheet and sticker.
BISCLAVERET – ‘Ephemeros (Ante ‘Te Deum’)’ CD (Zoharum) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
The newest Bisclaveret release is a concept album, touching upon the subject of human existence hidden in the symbols of seven angel names. On this album you will find 7 songs – pieces showing various aspects of human nature and his cosmic dimension in the world. This album is a trip into the mind through the word and sound. “Ephermeros [ante ‘Te Deum’]” shows a little bit of a different face of Bisclaveret by using new forms of expression, which the musicians used in the alchemical ritual of creation. 6-panel digipak.

CONAN – ‘Horseback Battle Hammer’ CD (Aurora Borealis) – £11 / £12 / £13
Excellent debut from Conan – a Caveman Battle Doom trio from the grim North of England. They summon the heavy riff from the ungodly land and crush the skull of the unbeliever with their low end doom assault. Waves of sludge and galloping crust passages overwhelm the unwary. ‘Horseback Battle Hammer’ is comprised of four long and crushing tracks recorded at Wales’ mighty Foel Studio (Hawkwind, Electric Wizard, Godflesh). The sound is monolithic, and clearly the band made the very best use of this legendary studio to get remarkable results from their custom made gear for a truly crushing debut release. Combining excellent production values, deadly riffs and a unique vocal style, “Horseback Battle Hammer” stays with the listener like a fresh wound. With artwork by Tony Roberts (Electric Wizard, Unearthly Trance, Cathedral), Conan have set in stone the majesty of their arrival. Digipak with metallic ink print.
DEAD RAVEN CHOIR – ‘Schmerzensgewalt’ CD (Aurora Borealis) – £11 / £12 / £13
Dead Raven Choir is one of the most obscure, hated, envied and enigmatic black metal / noise / outsider entities in the world. ‘Schmerzensgewalt’ is said to mark the final chapter in this bizarre and wondrous fable. Smolken, the mastermind behind both Dead Raven Choir and Wolfmangler, claims that he is setting his sights on pastures new and that this challenging work is to be perhaps the very final testament of the spirit of Dead Raven Choir. Equally as lo-fi and harsh as ‘My Firstborn Will Surely Be Blind’, ‘Schmerzensgewalt’ shares the same ambivalence to the technologies of the modern world – “Recorded in Poland on cheap and archaic Soviet Bloc technology” – and a desire to tear songs limb from limb, note by note, before reassembling them in a crude mockery of what stood before. Particularly noteworthy this time is the inclusion of 16 year old female Polish vocalists recorded at the eerie forest bunker that serves as Smolken’s lair, their naive delivery adding new unplumbed depths to the Dead Raven Choir sound.

FISTULA – ‘Goat’ CD (Crucial Blast) – £8 / £9 / £10
Ohio is rotting. Fistula deliver another heavy dose of their septic, filthy, lumbering death-sludge doom in the form of Goat, a five-song EP of low-fi and low-end nihilistic filth and rabies-laced caveman thrash with songs based on the ghoulish discovery and subsequent investigation of the eleven decomposing bodies found in the Cleveland home of Anthony Sowell in the Autumn of 2009. This disc delivers more of the pulverizing, slime-covered sludge and primitive death metal rot that these Buckeye barbarians have been carving out in the back of Medina garages over the past ten years, continuing to follow in the coagulated blood tracks of Frost, Autopsy and Winter, but filtered through Fistula’s uniquely mangled and inebriated scum-haze and utterly negative worldview. “A Handful of Dust and Ashes” is a collection of tracks recorded during various occasions, but united here by a peculiar sediment of dust and rust; it’s a journey in time from the strictly limited “A Handful of Dust” (Cynfeirdd, 2005) to “Opium” (Void Rekordz, 2005), both long out of print. The (re)collection is crowned by three tracks performed live in Barcelona and Bologna in 2008 and 2009. Includes a collaboration with Artefactum. INNER VISION LABORATORY – ‘Anywhere Out Of This World’ CD (Obuh) – £11 / £12 / £13
This new album by the Polish group explores the phenomenon of Ambient music. The project’s use of surround sound, its combination of various styles and field recording methods makes it characteristic and easily recognisable. ‘Anywere Out Of This World’ will take you on an amazing journey into the world created by Inner Vision Laboratory – a journey which will inspire your heart and spirit. This journey resonates with echoing sounds and folk songs invariably connected to Mother Earth. This album has a spirit – the spirit of Earth. Here you will find perfectly arranged and well-balanced ambient compositions, spatial collages underpinned by folklore, which emphasises the album’s specific nature. The album should appeal to those who enjoy tranquil, diverse, dark-ambient sounds similar in fashion to Raison D’etre, Desiderii Marginis or Asmorod. Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak.

JOB KARMA – ‘Punkt’ CD (Obuh) – £11 / £12 / £13
New album from this Polish duo, who are gradually becoming the spearhead of landscapists of the genre. These two boosters of post-industrial tradition have forged 8 well-shaped and perversely tuneful pieces, which form an ideal soundtrack for an apocalyptic soap opera that eats up bits of our lives every now and then. Escape from…but where? Everywhere is the same in the giant guts of the mechanical Leviathan. The cosmos serves more and more darkness from the frighteningly far galactic preserves, the black hole gets bigger and bigger. But do not be afraid. The Mind Grinding and Oppression Machine (the fearful MGOM), choking and wheezing with its own enormity, gets jammed and broken more and more often. The fight goes on. As ever. 6-panel digipak with phenomenal cover design by Arek Baginski.

KRZYSZTOF PENDERECKI – ‘Manuscript Found In Saragossa O.S.T.’ CD (Obuh)
– £11 / £12 / £13
The soundtrack for the cult film ‘Rekopis Znaleziony w Saragossie’ (‘Manuscript Found in Saragossa’) by the famous Polish director Wojciech Jerzy Has. The film was originally released in 1965 and since then has become a mile-stone of the avant-garde world cinema. It is the first time the soundtrack has been released on CD. It was released as a now extremely rare LP on Obuh in 2005 (Ltd x 500 hand-numbered copies). The main music themes were composed by Krzysztof Penderecki in 1963, a famous Polish contemporary / avant-garde composer; all the special effects and sound treatments took place at the Experimental Studio Of Polish Radio in Warsaw (one of the first studios of this kind in Europe) under the supervision of Bohdan Mazurek in 1963-1964. A great example of music concrete, free tape manipulation and a head-on trip into the analog music technology on the early 60s. The intriguing stylistic flourishes sit against the wonderful soundtrack, which was composed by Penderecki, famous for the scores of The Shining and Wild At Heart. 6-panel digipak.
LORDS OF BUKKAKE – ‘Desorden Y Rencor’ CD (Totalrust) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
“Desorden y Rencor” is the second album from Spanish trio, Lords of Bukkake, and brings 40 minutes of sickening slow motion Sludge/Doom filled with dirty riffs, greasy feedback, high-pitched insane vocals and lots of effects and electronics in the background. Extremely heavy, psychedelic and noisier / weirder than any of their previous material. Think Iron Monkey meets Swans meets Grief meets Godflesh meets Esoteric meets Eyehategod and you are still not even close. Mastered by Bri Doom (Lazarus Blackstar).
MALDUR ATAI – ‘Alarm / Valhala’ 7″ (Autarkeia) – £8 / £9 / £10
The second single of Maldur Atai is much sharper than the first. Expressive ambient / martial, powerful WWII samples generate darkly uncanny and psychedelic atmosphere. Like the first single, this one is also characterised by its astonishing completeness. It seems any addition would disturb this especially precise and well-balanced harmony of tracks. MALDUR ATAI – ‘Patrols Of Paradise’ 10″ (Autarkeia) – £11 / £13 / £15
Two long and powerful tracks from Maldur Atai provide a unique interpretation of the political and religious insularity and power of the Muslim world, secret currents and moods of this mechanism expanding its influence. The listeners will discover powerful, solid ambient, political incantations of the Muslims and strong, unsettling atmospheres in the professionally constructed tracks of this 10″. This captures the reflection of today’s Iran. It is mysterious and alluring, vilified by Zionist propaganda, yet independent and unbroken. Don’t buy if you’re easily offended. MENACE RUINE – ‘Union Of Irreconcilables’ CD (Aurora Borealis) – £11 / £12 / £13
The Montreal duo Menace release their eagerly awaited fourth opus on Aurora Borealis. Entitled ‘Union of Irreconcilables’ the album builds on their previous Great Work, the alchemical collision of Black Metal, walls of noise, mysticism, martial rhythms, and a Medieval affinity for melody leaving the listener with a sense of unforgettable originality. Begun in 2006, Menace Ruine have always followed their own path, combining unusual elements and vocal styles in an effort to capture their unique musical vision. The evolution of the band’s style and sound has been a constant throughout their three previous releases including 2008’s ‘The Die is Cast’ (Alien8) with Genevieve’s powerful vocal performance coming to the fore. Digipak with poster booklet.
NEKRASOV – ‘Extinction’ CD (Crucial Blast) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
Riding atop the recent wave of black metal / noise hybrids that combine the bleak, frosty riffs and blackened ferocity of underground metal with blown-out, corrosive strains of industrial noise, the Australian one-man act Nekrasov has made a substantial mark in the realm of the extreme underground. An octagonal prism of isolationist drone, flesh-rending black metal, otherworldly beauty, claustrophobic industrial and violent, suffocating strains of harsh noise, “Extinction” is pure, cyclonic contempt for humanity. The album is loaded with blasting, inhuman drumming and ferocious riffing that form noise-drenched trance-scapes, but the subtle attention to texture elevates this above typical mechanized black metal projects. Immersing the listener in layers of electronic sound and using creative stereo panning techniques and other production tricks, Nekrasov creates a harsh, alien atmosphere. A scorching new chapter from one of the foremost bands out there fusing black metal and noise. Digipak.

SABLE MOUVANT – ‘Bridge That Leads Nowhere’ CD (Autarkeia) – £11 / £12 / £13
Sable Mouvant is Lithuanian artist GyS. The project may be classified as hypnotic drone ambient. This debut conveys a gloomy, melancholic world where the prevailing trends include reduction, extinction and impalpability. The compositions are very slow and solid, their monotonic vibes are the source of a weird hypnotic feeling. Here we have live and pulsatile drone ambient where the track names precisely represent their mood best described as solitude and isolation. Sable Mouvant’s music offers a full dose of Gnostic unknowability and cryptic atmospheres. It is best suited for listening in derelict wastelands, while meditating invisible, elemental and indeed pervading supernatural reality that uncompromisingly regulates the evolution of all worlds known and unknown. The album will please anyone who’s not indifferent to the music of Jarl, Moljebka Pvlse, NWW, Kammarheit. Ltd x 500 copies.
SABLE MOUVANT – ‘Out Of The Nightmare / Back To The Dream’ 7″ (Autarkeia) – £8 / £9 / £10
After his debut drone / ambient album bridge that leads nowhere, Lithuanian composer GyS produced two new especially suggestive tracks. This is a hypnotic trip to transitional states: between sleep and wakefulness, day and night. This is a travel to the twilight and its secrets, of both nature and subconscious. This short album marked by genius reminds a certain transformation. Opening with sombre anxious accords, the album ends with total immersion into the state close to deep sleep. Ltd x 257 copies on brown vinyl.

Kosmies Slachtafval (“kosmic slaughterhouse sweepings / debris”) sees Silvester Anfang in dark, post-krautrock, heavy jam mode: guitars, bass, keys, flute and percussion combine with vocals to create a doomy funeral psych rich in the textures of ritual and worship. These arcane Belgians have garnered a fearsome and mysterious reputation for dark intense musical outpouring and idolatry. THE STARGAZER’S ASSISTANT – ‘The Other Side Of The Island’ CD (Aurora Borealis)
– £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
‘The Other Side Of The Island’ is the soundtrack to the sculptural works of David J Smith. In addition to his percussion duties with Guapo, Smith has spent the last two years bringing his visions to life; life that emerged slowly, painstakingly, out of wax, coal, copper and lead. In much the same way, the soundtrack itself slowly writhes organically before the listener: the groan of the motherlode, the shifting of tectonic plates, the song of the Earth’s crust. In collaboration with longstanding musical cohort Daniel O’Sullivan (Guapo, Miasma & The Carousel Of Dead Horses) and audio engineer Antti Uusumaki (Mothlite), Smith has created a strange work comprising of layered vocals, percussion, electronics and prepared strings. The Stargazer’s Assistant offer up the soundtrack of eternal, elemental labour. Jewelcase with metallic print.

TREES – ‘Freed Of This Flesh’ CD (Crucial Blast) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
The mysterious Portland ensemble Trees return with their second offering – two new fetid death rituals scraped from the crypt. Black glacial riffs suspended in space, tectonic percussive rumbles, anguished shrieks of torment, deep guttural demon throat singing, and endless sheets of glistening metallic feedback that spill and drift to the far edges of their time-stretched ambient doom, a crumbling, blighted majesty, noxious ambient blackdoom adrift on putrescent tides. Austere slabs of crushing heaviness arranged into ghoulish constructs of atmospheric dread, moving so slow that the music seems to lose all sense of propulsion at times… the guitars stretched into massive decomposing drones, the spaces between infested with controlled bursts of incredibly slow and ponderous drums. “Freed Of This Flesh” inhabits the same depths as Burning Witch, Monarch, Khanate, and Bunkur. Digipak.
TREES – ‘Lights Bane’ CD (Crucial Blast) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
2010 edition in a digipak. The debut album from the Portland quartet Trees delivers two epic tracks of monolithic, blackened doom metal with a twisted, noise-damaged approach and a dank basement vibe. Trees craft glacial abstract riffs and rivers of ashen amplifier goo that fans of feedback-laden heaviosity will find highly satisfying – a kind of grinding, slow-motion black hole psychedelia that has a similar hypnotic death-ritual quality as artists like Bloody Panda and Khanate, but with their own unique trance state of swirling guitar textures, horrific jet black dronescapes and ghoulish, excoriating vocals.

The 2 bonus tracks included here were recorded in 2003. Ltd x 500 copies in a 6-panel digipak. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

WHOURKR – ‘Concrete’ CD (Crucial Blast) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
The 2nd album from French deathtronix duo Whourkr is a whirlwind of electronically processed and treated avant-death/grind that is as violent and brutal as it is complex and obsessively constructed, relying as much on samplers and software as it does on bonecrushing riffs, screaming and hyperspeed blastbeats. Following a similiar strategy as James Plotkin’s post-production grind experiments on the first Phantomsmasher album, all of the guitars, drums, and vocals are arranged and recorded by Whourkr and then run through a gauntlet of hardcore editing and remixing. Total chaos deathgrind filtered through a futuristic cuisinart of ultra-aggressive electronica, like a freaked-out epileptic mashup of Atari Teenage Riot, Dying Fetus, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Venetian Snares, Blut Aus Nord, and John Zorn. Akin to Drumcorps, Bong-Ra, Dataclast, Noism, Agoraphobic Nosebleed, Reptiljan, Mulk and DHR. Digipak.

WOODLAND CHOIR – ‘Serenity Rise’ CD (Epidemie Records) – £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50
Woodland Choir is the neofolk project of the brilliant Hungarian musician Attila Bakos (vocalist on Thy Catafalque‘s Róka Hasa Rádió). “Serenity Rise” brings you 9 fragile pure acoustic melancholic neofolk songs in the English language. Essential for fans of this style of music and projects such as Tenhi, Liholesie, Nest, October Falls and Neun Welten. Ltd x 500 copies in a stunning digipak with booklet.

YRSEL – ‘Requiem For The Three Kharites’ CD (Aurora Borealis) – £11 / £12 / £13
Yrsel create complex, multi-layered and highly atmospheric music that fully explodes the genres of drone, doom, and electronica resulting in a glorious glacial melt of sound and texture. Yrsel is a collaboration between The Austrasian Goat, primarily an experimental Doom / Black Metal project, and Ondo, an equally prolific dark electronica project. Conceptually, the album deals with the Three Graces (Kharites) of Greek mythology, symbols of grace, beauty, pleasure, and the creative impulse. A requiem for the loss of culture in an ever spiraling material world, a twilight ode to the mythic manifestation of our higher faculties. In this context the drones, glitches and whispers form the perfect soundtrack to such dark materials. The album dissolves slowly from its thunderous opening, finally leaving the listener in a deep void of palpable loss. Ltd x 500 copies in a deluxe silkscreened wallet.
AUBE – ‘Ambera Planeta Wawar’ CD (Autarkeia) – £11 / £12 / £13

Originally released as a bootleg due to some ‘misunderstandings’, “Ambera Planeta Wawar” has now acquired a new status. This publication has finally become an official release of the project, while its previous concept becomes meaningless. The exclusive record by the Japanese genius is based on excellent psychedelic ambient and collages of extreme, structural noise music. 72 minutes of music in an elegant digipak.

BOCKSHOLM – ‘Rinna Leathercluster Liveaction 2008’ CD (Autarkeia)
– £11 / £12 / £13

Lina Baby Doll (Deutsch Nepal) and Peter Andersson (Raison D’etre) play havoc again. In the beginning there was a very drunken gig that resulted in a very drunken album. Since seas of beer are the most favourable condition for the records and gigs of these Swedish blokes, the concert in Malmö is simply perfect. Bearing in mind the reputation of these well-know masters of havoc, no wonder that this record is dominated by remarkable, powerful industrial rhythms, outbursts of psychedelic ambient, intoxicated, gargling vocals, sombre and dismal atmosphere transfused by alcoholic delirium, alcoholic despair and alcoholic hysteria that has only one culprit… No, it is not the alcohol, but this isolated, remote Swedish provincial town Boxholm with its fauna and polluted nature that had such a heavy impact on the childhood of these alcohol addicts. Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak.

BURIAL HEX / ZOLA JESUS – ‘Split’ LP (Aurora Borealis) – £15 / £18 / £21

‘Go Crystal Tears’ is the first outing for the new Burial Hex sound and highlights influences such as 80s horror synth master John Carpenter and Goblin coming to the fore and blending with the almost black metal vocal style and “horror electronics”. ‘Temple of the Flood’, clocking in at a 14 and a half minutes, is one of the final old-style Burial Hex tracks and proceeds in a style reminiscent of previous works with heavily processed analogue electronics and synths up, developing into eroding layers of primitive percussion, water drops and exotica piano, before ending in a deluge of sub bass and redemptive church organ. Nika (aka Zola Jesus) is here joined here by live member Dead Luke. Nika’s voice, reminiscent of a teenage Diamanda Galas or a more deranged Beth Ditto, soars and wails within an ever changing cloud of pulsing synths and analogue electronics, joined by a warm synth line. Spot-varnished sleeve.

DONIS – ‘Alexandreia’ CD (Autarkeia) – £11 / £12 / £13

‘Alexandreia’ serves as a deep, pure and dreamy manifest to the ancient times. Tranquil, transparent and persuasive ambient streams prevail in the tracks. The archaic winds of different nations tastefully add to it on some of the tracks, with hornpipe, bagpipes, tabor and bells. The Mediterranean past and present, the East and the West, the Greeks and the barbarians meet in the catharsis of profound sadness and wisdom, where the fall of civilisation witnessed in the vanishing cultural heritage is revealed. Greek poetry is recited in an enchanting voice and the ambient melting the words with elemental force embrace the audience who do not even know the archaic language. ‘Alexandreia’ will not disappoint the lovers of Dead Can Dance, Raison D’etre etc. Ltd x 500 copies in a digipak.

FIRE IN THE HEAD – ‘As The Nest Burns’ CD (Autarkeia) – £11 / £12 / £13

“As The Nest Burns” is an album about the darkest depths of psychosis, about the delusions and actions over which one has no control when entrenched in a manic state and the nightmares from which some never awaken. It is an album born in the blackest of times, to be listened to in the blackest of times. With this recording F/I/T/H experiments with new arsenal of sounds and techniques adding a heavily psychedelic edge to his mix of noise / power electronics / drone. These are the straight-jacketed screams from the bowels of a mental institution. Ltd x 400 copies.

HAIR POLICE – ‘The Empty Quarter’ CD (Harbinger Sound)
– £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50

Recorded in spring 2007 by Mike Connelly (Wolf Eyes), Trevor Tremaine (Death Unit) and Robert Beaty (Burning Star Core). No drums. All electronics. Wave after wave after wave of fractalized & harsh electronics with Gristle-esque walls of sound and normality-disrupting electronic oscillations. For fans of Wolf Eyes, and early Black Dice. Digipak. Ltd x 1000 copies.

PAIN JERK / JOHN WIESE – ‘Terrazzo’ CD (Harbinger Sound)
– £10.50 / £11.50 / £12.50

“Classic ultra-fucked electrified noise barrage that seems to reflect more on the early-90s pornographic Merzbow sound et al than anything currently beating its head against a rock. Just chaos blurts of white noise catharsis cut up with quizzical gloops down the plughole where you feel like a cartoon roadrunner, still peddling in mid-air while rainbows explode into shards of glass and crystal. A fantastic blast of old school noise from these old school boize: John Wiese (Bastard Noise) and Kohei Gomi aka Pain Jerk. Recorded by mail October 2005” [Volcanic Tongue]. Ltd x 1000 copies.
