All I can say is wow! This band truly captured that sci-fi sound. I love the way the music is produced and the vocals are fantastic. The overall presentation of the band is very sci-fi-like. Very cool. This is more than club music, this can actually be a film soundtrack. You might hear this type of music in the movie such as The Matrix and upon reading the information sheet from this release, this band is in fact featured in the The Matrix DVD and Special Effects set. This CD has a superb remix by Razed in Black. UV is a must hear band. Be sure not to miss this one.

Title: Nachtangst

Philosopher's Point is a German based elektro-industrial EBM band. Pretty much anything released on the mighty BLC Productions is of superior quality and this band is no exception. The production of the album is rather excellent. It's pretty dark if I must say so. This band's music may appeal to the gothic fans, the clubbers, as well as if you're just trying to look for good new music, then look no further. If only the U.S. is great when it comes to music business, this band could fly and be as huge as anyone in the mainstream, but why would any of us true fans of indie music care? Just pick this album up and hear some great music. This is a highly enjoyable disc. It's worth every dime.
Artist: LaVant Garde
Title: Inside Out

I'm going have to say that Germany have the tightest synth-pop bands in the world. There's something about them that really keeps me listening to synth/electro-pop. LaVant Garde is one of the newest hottest act around out of the industrial country. This two piece band is outstanding and have what it takes to make good club synth-pop dance music. The tracks are very simple, vocals are good and the production stands out very well indeed. The cd contains three music videos of "Dedicated", "Airs And Graces", and "The World We Live In", which you can download to watch on your PC. Very nice videos that will entertain you and contains footages from their concert. Worth checking out. My favorite tracks includes "Recall Of Night", "Take Me S.I.M.", "Not Enough", "Live Your Life (Rebirth)" and the instrumental "Somewhere Out There". I'm certainly looking forward to hear their next release!

Title: Collection
Format: CD
Label: Meta-Wave Music (@)

Meta Wave Music has released a historically significant collection of rare recordings by the band ADN Ckrystall. Their music is minimal electronic in nature but is really a sort signature for French obscuro new wave. All of the band’s rare recordings have been included in this limited edition (100 pieces) 32-song 2x CDR in a DVD box set. For minimal electronic fanatics the inclusion of the ultra rare "Jazz Mad" LP as well as the "In-Edit" 7" single will send heart palpitations through their collectors anxiety ridden chests. These are some of the most sought after and hard to find audiophile lust items there are. My favorites here are "Le Combat (Robin Hood)"and "Happy? Really?" which could be designated as the bands influential style signatures. If you need a comparisons, try the Strangler’s JJ Burnel’s project Polyphonic Size which was a more polished and produced version of this bands work or even some early things Kraftwerk. ADN Ckrystall’s music ranges from minimal experimental to robotic synthpop and then back again. Highly Recommended.

Title: Le Chant De La Nuit
Format: CD
Label: Illuminating Technologies

If you follow Chain D.L.K. from early 2001 you probably didn't miss the interview I did with Autopsia. If you did, well, LE CHANT DE LA NUIT is the perfect way to know their music and their attitude (you can also find the interview I did into the interactive part). What LE CHANT DE LA NUIT exactly is? Well I can't think about it only as an album with an interactive section, because on the data section you can find so many informations that we can think about LE CHANT DE LA NUIT as a whole multimedia project. The musical part is divided into eight different tracks and it is a compilation of tracks coming from "Mistery science" ("Electrosphere", "(G)rave" and "Joy of chaos"), from "Humanity Is The Devil 1604-1994" ("Prologue" and "Delamentatione"), from "Palladium" ("Palladium 4" a.k.a. "Der Reichtum Des Vielen Und Das Eine") and from the side projekt compilation "Prager Kodex" ("Interdikt" by Hussite). The only track I don't know is "Tallow". If tracks like "Tallow", "Prologue" and "Palladium 4" are more based on the ambience created, "Joy of chaos" is structured like a suite where rhythmical parts and electronic intermezzos (with drum machine, sequencers, etc) break the tension by adding some dynamical inserts. "Interdict" is like a dark medieval track while with "Electrosphere" the atmosphere gets thick again blending choruses and electronic sounds just to form a march. "Delamentatione" and "G(rave)" don't release the tension and close the CD with some other epic sounds. The interactive part is divided (just like their website) into different sections: Discography, Gallery, Autopsia Television, Reviews, Smrt Kultury Jako Komodity, Downloads (links to the www.bombaj.cz website where you can purchase four of their releases as downloads) and interviews. If you'd like to have an in depth view of this important project, this one is for you!
P.s. This release is limited to 300 copies, so... hurry!
