Listening to DEAD.ENDS.SINFUL I imagine 1997EV as a collective whose aims are unknown to me. Their tracks sound like industrial folk suites. Mantras of a new decadent era which with their obsessive growing create a soundtrack to a primitive ritual. If you listen to the ten minutes of "Lucifile eins" and "G-rays violet" you'll find some similitude with the long psychedelic nihilism of Velvet Underground. If there's a place where apocalyptic-folk and Kraut rock met, somewhere near you could find 1997EV with their hypnotic tracks made raping acoustic guitars, violins, percussions, electric guitars and adding treated sounds which form a psychedelic background. If you don't want to adventure into long suites, try "A dark sides miracle" (the only track which have a semi song structure) and you'll met Current 93, of the third album era, drinking a tea at the Madcap table but if you loved the "Lucifer rising" soundtrack try the closing "Alder sides epsylons part I".
