Welcome to our weekly round-up of forthcoming releases.

Completing what began in 1998 with the single “Tragic Hero” followed by the CD “Fallen Hero” in 2005, “Arising Hero” is the third and final part of the FUNKER VOGT trilogy. ‘The Hero saga’ is a sort of first person perspective tale about an unnamed soldier fighting an unknown war. The “Arising Hero” single features six distinctive takes on the song, including remixes by ROTERSAND, FADERHEAD and KOMOR KOMMANDO, as well as a B-side.

Fifteen years of SOLITARY EXPERIMENTS – fifteen Remixes! For all those who were not able to attend the group’s fifteenth anniversary festival in Berlin this October, here’s your chance to get your hands on the rare giveaway CD that was handed out at the show, containing the fifteen best contributions to the remix contest for their club hit “Rise and Fall”, merged together into one seamless mega-remix.

After numerous EPs and three studio albums, Ben Arp brings his C/A/T project back to release a definitive “Best Of” album that spans the most productive period of the band’s history, 2005 – 2010. Voted on by fans of the band via a poll on Arp’s website, “Music to Piss YOU Off” features tracks like “Smashed (v2)” and “(We Make) Music to Piss You Off”, which got C/A/T noticed on the dark underground club circuit.

DIVERJE return with their seventh full-length album “Burn Away”, their strongest new material yet! As with all DIVERJE albums, this one doesn’t sound the same all the way through. Lots of variety in the styles, musically and vocally, bring a more detailed, complex arrangement structure with harsh EBM/industrial and guitars mixed on half the tracks, to give a metallic flavor and extra aggression to the mix.

SNOG has always been a strange animal. Some kind of electro-Frankenstein, a hybrid of progressive electronic music and archaic traditional work-songs and melancholic ballads. “Avoid Panic Buying (Remixes for Early Adopters)” strips away Thrussell’s old-world songwriting to reveal the high-octane, pulsating electro-beast that often hides deep in the SNOG sound.

To ease the anticipation of the next studio production from LA MAGRA, here is a ‘Best Of’ album. “The Shadows of My Past” features not only songs right from the very beginning of the project, but also unreleased tracks from the past. With fast club beats like “Needful Things” and “Serial Killer”, more typical songs for the band such as “Join Me” or rather quiet tracks like “Memories” and “Goodbye”, the album presents an unusually great variety of sounds and atmosphere. Limited to just 666 hellish copies worldwide.

Since their inception in 2003, electro-crossover DOLLS OF PAIN have proven themselves at major festivals such as the Wave Gothic Treffen in Leipzig and the Gothic Festival in Waregem (Belgium). This second EP, “Strange Kiss”, takes us once again onto the dancefloors of the electronic alternative scene with its rhythms, tortured guitars and haunting synths. Includes remixes of two of the tracks by BAK XIII, A7IE, LARVA and DARX.

Dutch wave heroes COÏTUS INT. have been described as coldwave, hardcore in slow motion, gothic, depressive post-punk, dark underground, etc. “1980-1982” offers the complete early works of COÏTUS INT. on CD for the first time, a masterpiece for Dutch coldwave addicts!

Also this week we have “The Next Chapter”, a wonderful remix EP from ALIEN PRODUKT, featuring remixes from some of most important bands on the world scene; and “Riot Death”, sub-titled “Face Your Future Dealers”, by Belarus-based hardcore industrial project AMBASSADOR 21.

On the third album from MINERVE, “Please”, the band once again deliver catchy electropop, offering a variety of powerful melodies, danceable beats and vocals floating over the music; whilst new act PROJECT ROTTEN (featuring Fredrik Croona from MENSCHDEFEKT) release the debut album “The Freakshow”, aiming to take the electro/industrial scene by storm.

A couple of gothic compilations this week too – the “Gothic Visions Vol. II” DVD&CD and the “Gothic Spirits 3” DVD.

DAS ICH Re-issues

The long out-of-print titles “Addendum” and “Morgue” are now available again.

Have a great weekend!

Completing what began in 1998 with the single “Tragic Hero” followed by the CD “Fallen Hero” in 2005, “Arising Hero” is the third and final part of the trilogy. ‘The Hero saga’ is a sort of first person perspective tale about an unnamed soldier fighting an unknown war. C/A/T Music to Piss You Off £12.00
Review
Pissing you off. It’s something Ben Arp has strived to achieve since starting his project, C/A/T, in the late 1990s. After numerous EPs and three studio albums, Arp brings his C/A/T project back to Crunch Pod to release a definitive “Best Of” album that spans the most productive period of the band’s history, 2005 – 2010. Voted on by fans of the band via a poll on Arp’s website, “Music to Piss YOU Off”, features tracks like “Smashed (v2)” and “(We Make) Music to Piss You Off” which got C/A/T noticed on the dark underground club circuit. Fan voting also led to some of the more abstract work that Arp is known for, such as the endcap to 2008’s concept album “The Great Crisis” and the downtempo “The Brink of Self-Destruction” from 2009’s “We Are Still Alive” EP.

Diverje Burn Away £12.75
Review
DIVERJE return with their seventh full-length album and their strongest new material yet! New member ADAM LANE of OBSCURE DESCENSION writes half of the album with Tommy T. and the results are stronger, and more diverse than ever, bringing a more detailed, complex arrangement structure with harsh EBM/industrial and guitars mixed on half the tracks, to give a metallic flavor and extra aggression to the mix. As with all DIVERJE albums, this one doesn’t sound the same all the way through. Lots of variety in the styles, musically and vocally, and they still seem to all work and flow together as a full album and not a compilation of songs. It features solid contributions from regular members JOSH WOOD and VINCE PUJOL, and some amazing new friends join DIVERJE on this trip.

Snog Avoid Panic Buying (Remixes for Early Adopters) £10.50
Review
SNOG has always been a strange animal. Some kind of electro-Frankenstein, a hybrid of progressive electronic music and archaic traditional work-songs and melancholic ballads. This release strips away Thrussell’s old-world songwriting to reveal the high-octane, pulsating electro-beast that often hides deep in the SNOG sound. There are club anthems here (“Shop (I.M.F Remix)”, jagged avant work-outs (BLACK LUNG’s remix of “The Human Germ”) and edgy dancefloor grunt (UBIN’s remix of “Real Estate Man”). These remixes were cooked up with paranoia, anger, love and dark, dark humour. You WILL like them.

La Magra The Shadows of My Past £12.00
Review
To ease the anticipation of the next studio production from LA MAGRA, here is a ‘Best Of’ album. “The Shadows of My Past” features not only songs right from the very beginning of the project, containing digitally remastered demo recordings (practically unavailable these days – until now) but also unreleased tracks from the past of the band. The listener is granted insight into the spiritual dwelling of these dark electronic musicians centred around frontman Louis Cyphre – a world of shadows inspired by creatures of the night and legends about fallen angels.

With fast club beats like “Needful Things” and “Serial Killer”, more typical songs for the band such as “Join Me” or rather quiet tracks like “Memories” and “Goodbye”, the album presents an unusually great variety of sounds and atmosphere. Clubbers will enjoy themselves just as much as those who look for appropriate background music for the dark hours at home.

“The Shadows of My Past” is especially dedicated to long-time fans, but you’d better hurry to get your hands on it, since it is limited to just 666 hellish copies worldwide.

Coitus Int. 1980-1982 £14.25
Review
Over the years, Dutch wave heroes COÏTUS INT. have preferred to spend most of their time in the rehearsal room and occasionally making records. At the same time they shunned publicity and performing. So in their fourteen years of existence (from 1978 till 1992), they only did a handful of gigs (about 50 in total) and only a few dozen pictures of the band were ever taken.

In the 80s the Dutch music press labeled their sound as ‘doom-punk’. Nowadays their music has been described as coldwave, hardcore in slow motion, gothic, depressive post-punk, dark underground, etc. Singer Jos de Groot is still active today, running the 7″ label A Fistful of Records. For a couple of years during the 80s guitarist Marcel Uffing was also the singer for Dutch outfit Hedda Gabler. This release offers the complete early works of COÏTUS INT. on CD for the first time, a masterpiece for Dutch coldwave addicts!

Minerve Please £14.75
Review
The third album from MINERVE has been produced by Olaf Wollschläger (AND ONE, MESH, UNHEILIG, YELLO) and mastered by John Cremer (KRAFTWERK, EURYTHMICS) who put the finishing touches to the crisp and very transparent sound. On “Please”, the band once again presses every button to come closer to their definition of perfect electropop. At the same time, the album contains even catchier compositions than ever before and the songs are definitely more highly orchestrated, offering a variety of powerful melodies, danceable beats and vocals floating over the music.

Project Rotten The Freakshow £10.00
Review
PROJECT ROTTEN was founded in July 2009 as a solo project by Fredrik Croona of the band MENSCHDEFEKT. He made two tracks himself but then realized he needed someone more to complete the band. After a switch of members, the demo “Machine Made Flesh” saw the light of day in August 2009. Four months later in December of the same year, the self released EP “Bleed You Dry” was released.

In 2010 Ani left the band and after discussing it the band agreed that they didn’t need anymore members, so X/209 and Fredrik remain, and will continue to spread the the musical chaos across the world on their own.

With the debut album “Freakshow” complete and waiting to be unleashed, the band is more ready than ever to take the electro/industrial scene by storm.

Premature Ejaculation Rise £12.75
Review
Little is known about the history of ROZZ WILLIAMS’ “Rise”. The recording is included on a cassette which also contains a full and exact copy of COME ORGANISATION’s Necrophilia, which was released during the second half of 1983. “Rise” has the same raw feel as the first PREMATURE EJACULATION recordings, especially “A Little Hard to Swallow”. It can be assumed that it was recorded sometime between the end of 1983 and the beginnig of 1987, but more probably in the earlier period.

“Rise” consists of twelve seperate tracks, and each one is titled. Out of the twelve, seven are a minute or less in length. The first track (over eight minutes long), which is also the longest one on the album, has the effect of tuning in and out of various radio programmes. The release also incorporates the use of samples and as well as some very short solo recordings which were seemingly performed at home.

Cluster Cluster 71 £14.00
Review
According to The Wire, the British bible of musical excellence, “Cluster 71” is one of the ‘100 Records that set the world on fire’. Very few German albums can claim this honour. “Cluster 71” is a monster: the debut work from the year 1971 contains a mere three tracks (untitled) and is quite an ordeal for untrained ears – or it was back then, at least. Yet the album pointed the way forward like no other electronic opus.

Greenhaus A Fool’s Paradise £15.00
Review
GREENHAUS, originally an electronic three-piece formed in the late 90s (with releases under the Beggars Banquet and Kickin Record labels), now release their fourth studio album just over ten years on. The band’s three previous studio albums released on Phuture, Kalinkaland in Germany and later on, Revolver Records have been described as ‘almost theraputic’, ‘the offspring between ambient and wave’ and likened to MASSIVE ATTACK and THE COCTEAU TWINS.

The new album is a lot darker in style and more direct in content. The track “Second Chance” brings a discordant colour to the release whilst “Out of Your Mind” and the title track “A Fool’s Paradise” remind us of the anthemic synth lines of the past. The album also features a couple of remixes from the acclaimed “You’re Not Alone” LP, weighing in at a whopping fourteen tracks long, and the band have recently been promoting this record on a UK tour as support for Peter Murphy.

The Mist of Avalon Dinya £14.75
Review
Founded as a classic goth rock band back in the 90s, THE MIST OF AVALON have built up quite a reputation during the last fifteen years of performing alongside bands such as TIAMAT, FUNHOUSE, NFD and THE 69 EYES. Now, after a recording hiatus of ten years, the Swedish band presents their much-anticipated third album. During their musical development, the band have successfully cast off any genre bonds. The twelve new songs here show an exceedingly varied range of influences. Of course, the original goth elements can still be found at times; however, the band knows how to build up permanent tension throughout the whole album with boisterous up-tempo tracks. Singer Aram Yildiz’s flexible voice is capable of mastering both dark, screaming and very melodious parts quite impressively. Supported by subtly applied female background vocals, songs like “I wish” grow into energetic indie-wave pop hymns which, indeed, show similarities to bands like A-HA or THE CHAMELEONS (“Tell Me”). “Dinya” offers soulful, driving and fresh indie-wave rock with an undertone of a deep and sometimes gloomy melancholy far away from any artificial depression. Hence, the band have succeeded in recording a very entertaining album which stands out by virtue of its powerful intensity and diversity.

The Psychogeographical Commission Patient Zero £12.50
Review
“Patient Zero” refers to the original source of an outbreak of a contagious illness within a population, or to the most significant case within the population.

This album is an attempt to psychologically portray the mind of a “Patient Zero”, wandering through their urban surroundings infected with the solar downturn at the Summer Solstice and tracking the advancement of symptoms as the sun goes from the height of its earthly power to its astronomical nadir. Feelings of old are transformed as the autumn progresses, infecting others and feeding back into the shared experience, changing perceptions and projecting a new reality as signifiers take on different and separate meanings.

Written throughout the six month period at times of lunar or solar significance and in multiple locations across the UK, each song portrays a thought, an experience or a mood of the time and place of its conception.

A true and faithful relation of the Sun’s dark passenger.

Nachtmahr Semper Fidelis £14.00
Review
“You have enemies? Good. That means you’ve stood up for something, sometime in your life.” – Winston Churchill

Numerous victorious battles in the guise of two internationally successful albums, explosive festival gigs and three colossal touring missions through the USA have turned NACHTMAHR into a truly invincible force. In 2010, the project returns to the industrial battlefields as nothing less than a superior opponent that no one can hold back. The impressively matured third album “Semper Fidelis” does full justice to this ultimate grasp for leadership: a groundbreaking, massive, unique beast of an album, underlining the “with or against us” attitude of the Austrian Imperial Industrial spearheads more than ever before. Worship or abhorrence – there is no other possibility.

In virtue of the slogan “Semper Fidelis” (‘Forever loyal’), supreme commander Thomas Rainer exercises a spectacular detonation of shell splinters and crushed detritus which is true to the attitude of his previous works, yet at the same time full of an unimagined wealth of complexity, establishing the borders to other brutal industrial commandos even firmer. Take “Wir Schreiben Geschichte” with a sample that is as thought-provoking as the harsh noise sequences are relentless. Or the wildly thrashing industrial bomb thrower “Verräter an Gott” that cleverly continues epic NACHTMAHR manifestos like “Katharsis” and “Mörder”. “Can You Feel the Beat?”, then, gives another proof of the supreme commander’s passion for classic EBM while “Unbeugsam” shows the pure essence of this act while serving the genre’s most massive beats ever. And with the stomping electro stampede of “Tanz, Major!” resounding through the clubs, everyone will voluntarily enlist to the NACHTMAHR army.

“Semper Fidelis” offensively proves that the decadent philosophy behind NACHTMAHR is incorruptible. The songs clarify more than ever that this attack is guided by an artist playing by his own rules. Above everything else, NACHTMAHR is especially one thing: honest. And honesty is the best policy. This nightmare has only just begun!

The ‘standard’ edition of the album comes in a six-panel digipak with a sumptuous 28-page booklet.

Santa Hates You P.A.N.I.C. £15.75
Review
While the devastating impact of the “Crucifix Powerbomb” still resonates, the unpredictable electro dervishes SANTA HATES YOU are already causing new global panic attacks. Having titled the last album after a fatal move from the flashing world of Wrestling, the duo now choose a much more heated approach: with their new EP “P.A.N.I.C.”, PROJECT PITCHFORK boss Peter Spilles and his impeccable comrade Jinxy unleash the ‘PostApocalypticNudeIndustrialCorps’ to fortify their dominance in the worldwide clubs – using all the means necessary to achieve this goal.

Needless to say, the title of this brimful ten-track EP is anything but a coincidence: malicious, mean, relentless and dark, but at the same time sexy, ambiguous and driven by pure electro anarchy, SANTA HATES YOU stomp through five all-new tracks full of smashing beats, hectically whirring sequences and punchy vocals. The tightrope walk between apocalyptic visions and a contemporary club attitude has never been done better!

Nothing will stand between SANTA HATES YOU and victory now – a fact epitomized in the narcissistic electro anthem “Victorious” (whose chorus line ‘We are victorious’ stands for the triumph of thrashing beats) as well as in “Panictown”, a highly explosive crossbreed of dark electro reference, sensual female vocals and a modern production that will make it into the annals of dark and electronic music history. And yet the five snarling SANTA HATES YOU tracks plus the two startling video clips on the bonus DVD are only the beginning: “PANIC” boasts a highly prestigious remix squad pressing their trademark style onto the EP: NACHTMAHR, [X]-RX and VIRGINS O.R PIGEONS take up the challenge to put the famous “Hexenpolizei” through their beat driven machinery while EXT!ZE and TAMTRUM launch spectacular reworks of “Z.O.M.B.I.E”. No dancefloor will be safe.

Subscribe to the ‘PostApocalypticNudeIndustrialCorps’ before this overdosed mass panic reaches the clubs!

Strictly limited to 777 copies.

Rome Nera [Re-Issue] £14.00
Review
After a highly praised mini CD, the expectations for ROME’s debut album were huge – and ROME delivered!

ROME songs are full of citations, abstractions and ideals. The marching and counter-marching of doubtful armies luring our love away, with licit grace, icy and bitter irony. Gentle phantasms of desire; the reversal of sympathies; the aspects of eternity, spiritual hunger, treachery and corruption, shame and honour – all being more than mere traps for the unsophisticated: these are some of “Nera”‘s interlocking themes in a world scorched by the wastefulness and cruelty of war. “Nera” is the meticulous patience of rage. Get it now and make it your friend, before it devours you!

The first edition of this debut album sold out long ago after its release in 2006. Trisol is both honoured and proud to finally make this release available again. Due to Jerome’s constant changes of address during the CMI years some original artwork files have been lost to time. However, the artwork has been restored or partially re-invented and even enhanced with a booklet containing all the lyrics and additional photographs.

ohGr Welt + SunnyPsyOp £13.75
Review
OHGR is a band formed by Nivek Ogre, of SKINNY PUPPY, and musician/engineer Mark Walk. Although the pedigree of the group’s members might suggest otherwise, early OHGR releases differed in sound to their related industrial bands, drawing more on hip-hop and electro-pop influences, and incorporating more conventional structures and a lighter tone. However, from “Devils in My Details” onwards, OHGR has taken to a more abrasive, nonlinear flavour of electronica.

Snog The Dissolving Satellite of Egoism Overturned (The Nude Acoustic Verandah Sessions) £12.75
Review
A long overdue collection of ‘acoustic’ tracks by SNOG.

Celebrated on the dancefloor or in the private booth, SNOGreveal the organic heart that beats deep beneath their world-weary exterior. Remastered with love and care from the original tapes, assembled after hours spent delving into the vaults, here is a SNOG you might never have thought existed – ragged yet sincere, angry yet tender and heartfelt. Apocalyptic hillbillies who somehow got lost in an industrial rave – SNOG have now come home – and it’s a revelation. These rare archival recordings document the touching, warm and rather unknown aspects of a group most often noted for their dark, anarchic electronic music. Not that their love for acoustic tunes had not yet been revealed, as it has been an integral part of all releases, with acoustic tracks and remixes appearing as bonuses, B-sides and compilation tracks throughout their career. Now for the first time they are all conveniently repackaged on one album and of course enriched with previously unreleased material to equally please the snogheads.

Klaus Schulze La Vie Electronique 8 £18.25
Review
During the years 1977-1983, Schulze recorded some of his most introspective works, such as “Mirage”, “Dune” and “Dig It”. On this, the eighth part of this series, we find a selection of stuff that was archived alongside his official albums from those years. A large part of this 3CD set is made up of of concert recordings (made on a cheap, but stereo, radio cassette recorder) from Klaus’ 1979 tour with singer ARTHUR BROWN, although disc one, for instance, features more than forty minutes of studio material. Also included (on discs two and three) are two rare fragments of highly interesting radio interviews from that period.

Just how far Schulze went during his concerts can be heard on “The Martial Law”, where he gives his all on the Minimoog. What a contrast, compared with the elegant “L’Affaire Tournesol” on disc two. Just listen and be careful: this is angry but melodic stuff in the typical Schulze 80s way! The late 70s/early 80s work of Schulze is often overlooked and underrated. Hearing the material featured on this 3CD set, one can discover the ‘other side’ of that particular period when analogue was still there, but digital was about to become the power to be.

Celluloide Hexagonal £15.00
Review
Just in case you ever had a doubt: machines DO have a heart… an eight-bit heart!

For their fifth album, CELLULOIDE locked themselves in their Synthélabo and tried to nail the formula of electronic pop ‘à la Française’. “Hexagonal” is a further exploration of the group’s pop and EBM influences with an analogue flavour for a very personal and unique combination of electronic music.

Detroit Diesel Terre Humaine £13.50
Review
Since their formation in 2006 in Quebec, harsh EBM act DETROIT DIESEL have played shows with acts such as HOCICO, FGFC820, LEAETHER STRIP and ALIEN VAMPIRES, including a recent appearance at the 2010 Kinetik Festival in Canada. The track “When Darkness Falls” from their 2008 demo “Dancing with Terror” was featured on Alfa Matrix’s internationally renowned compilation series “Endzeit Bunkertracks”, and a strong remix for XP8 won them a place on the Japanese Limited Edition of XP8’s “Drop the Mask” and a deal with Infacted Recordings.

Now, following the well-received download-only EP “Lost Signals”, DETROIT DIESEL’s debut album “Terre Humaine” is about to touch down and features no less than 75 minutes of powerful club sounds in tracks such as “Lost Signal”, the hi-tempo “Serenade” and the commercially-friendly “Not Yet”. In addition to the twelve regular tracks, the album also includes hard-hitting remixes from FGFC820, C-LEKKTOR and SOMAN, plus an epic transformation of “All Lost Before Dawn” by DIE SEKTOR! “Terre Humaine” has been mastered by Jan L (NOISUF-X) and features retro 1950s-themed artwork designed to compliment DETROIT DIESEL’s own lyrical ideas for the album.

The Rorschach Garden 42 Times Around the Sun £13.50
Review
The sixth full-length album in as many years from THE RORSCHACH GARDEN, and it really is a musical stroll through the styles and contents TRG have explored so far, with a strong emphasis on progress and refinement. What once started with a very ‘retro’ sound has acquired a lot of modern aspects sonically. Additionally, Philipp Münch invited some well-known friends to join him on vocals.

“42 Times…” starts with the uptempo “Automatic”, something TRG haven’t done in a while. Back in the classic TRG vein with the more familiar melodies are “Broken” and “Unusual Romance”, the latter being a heart-felt declaration of love by the charging cable to its connected mobile (!), and yes, it does remind somehow of the B52’s.

“Some Reasons to Call This Time the Hate-ies” is not only a clever reference to the MORRISSEY quote, not only a punch in the face of the narrow-minded nostalgist, but also a wonderful party track. DIRK IVENS delivers unmistakable backing vocals on “Living in a Cage” while GENEVIÈVE PASQUIER does so on the anti-paparazzi track “How to Become Invisible”. “(In Search) of the Amber Room” is a Detroit-tinged electro smash.

Other standout tracks are the Devo-style “Micro Machines”, a duet with SYNAPSCAPE partner, Tim, and the wonderful “Red Light”, a track in the timeless pop tradition, and maybe the ultimate earworm TRG have created so far, featuring background lyrics by Scott Milton of American newcomer act THE PRESENT MOMENT. The latter also performs the entire vocals of “Rejection”, a spine-tingling trance-infused ballad that makes way for the closing title, a very upbeat remix by MEMMAKER.

“42 Times…” is nothing less than a classic pop album, tightly produced and with a coherent mood, yet enough diversity in sound and content, and it displays the enormous musical talent of Philipp at new heights!

Stepping out of Australia’s outback with a vengeance, BLACK LUNG adds a bloody new chapter to his towering discography. Schwarzer Engel Geister und Damonen £10.75
Review
After his endtime debut “Apokalypse”, SCHWARZER ENGEL again soars skywards to spread his baleful visions, to whisper demonic messages into our nightmares and to darken the skies with his majestic wings. On his brand new EP “Geister und Dämonen” (‘Ghosts and Demons’), the Lord of the Crows raises the unutterable shadows of his soul from their deathlike slumber, unleashing them amongst us in the shape of four new hymns to the end of the world.

And there will be no happy ending this time: it may only have been a couple of months since “Apokalypse” came upon us, and yet the crowlike musical art sounds more determined, more epic and more memorable than ever, while still retaining the massive momentum of the debut. A ghastly scenario springs to life, built upon raging guitars, stomping drums, dark and sonorous vocals and a haunted atmosphere reminiscent of enchanted TIM BURTON movies. “Geister und Dämonen” makes one thing crystal clear: SCHWARZER ENGEL is the new generation of abysmal tunes, the contemporary visage of groundbreaking acts like RAMMSTEIN, ASP, THE VISION BLEAK and SAMSAS TRAUM – and the Lord of the Crows is the prophet of doom for this new era.

Aside from the title track, joining dark as well as club-oriented metal with a seductive lullaby melody and a bombastic refrain, it is most notably the relentless ‘Club Edit’ of “Mitternacht” that won’t leave your ears or your feet for a long time to come. Dark clubs of this world, beware: The Lord of the Crows has come for you. And he is not alone: Martin Schindler of MANTUS fame joins forces with him to put “Geister und Dämonen” through his machineries, thereby giving birth to a remix somewhere between spooky fairground and classic gothic sounds that will haunt your dreams for a long time to come. “Geister und Dämonen” – the demise of the world has never been more welcome.

The Dark Unspoken Diode in Your Head? £15.00
Review
Originally a solo project, THE DARK UNSPOKEN have now grown into a fully-fledged band. Their debut release “Die by Echoes” (2005), was followed by “Rotten Memories” (2008). They are also highly experienced as an excellent live act. Since their first energetic gig at the legendary Ballhaus Felsenkeller in Höxter, they have played countless shows throughout Germany. In general, their main focus is to sweep the audience along with songs that deal with biased ways of thinking, ignorance and selfishness – with people who close their eyes to any kind of reasoning.

Front Line Assembly Angriff £8.00
Review
If have been following the DAC (German Alternative Chart) this summer, you will have noticed that while the successful FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY album “Improvised Electronic Device” and the first single “Shifting Through the Lens” easily defended the leading chart positions, another track from the album had been picked up by lots of DJs and entered the club charts as well: “Angriff”. This track has become a real club hit and for this reason FLA have decided to release it as an EP with five new versions, a radio edit and two previously unreleased tracks. Remixers include PROJECT PITCHFORK, Tim Skold (MARILYN MANSON/KMFDM), MINDLESS FAITH, and their tour mates MIND.IN.A.BOX.
