Welcome to our weekly round-up of forthcoming releases. It’s a quick one this week, as we’re off to the Whitby Goth Weekend tomorrow.

“Als Wären Wir für Immer” (‘As if we were forever’) is the first DIE KRUPPS (mini) album to feature exclusively new material since 1997! Once again the band break new ground, without denying their roots or moving away from their own unique sound. Dance floor killers meet groove monsters, moving through the room like a steamroller. Catchy melodies, massive hooks and lyrics with a message are DIE KRUPPS’ trademarks, and this album proves it again: body and mind are in perfect synchronicity!

EINSTUERZENDE NEUBAUTEN announce the release of “Strategies Against Architecture IV”, following a European tour celebrating the band’s 30th Annniversary. This release is the fourth album in the archival compilation series and collates the band’s output from 2002 to 2010. The double disc release includes material from the band’s deeply symbolic appearance at Berlin’s Palast der Republik, live recordings and material from the “Musterhaus” series (a collection of very limited edition experimental albums that were available exclusively via the band’s website).

Hidden inside a gorgeously designed black and red cover lies a book with stories, told by the master of creepy bedtime narrations: AH CAMA-SOTZ. “Blood Will Tell” is a narrative, covering the orient, the middle east, the unknown and the unspoken. Eleven tracks ranging from dark ambient soundscapes to pounding dancefloor fillers. And still the master succeeds in covering all the styles in between without breaking the continuous drive he is so famous for!

Comparing WYNARDTAGE’s latest work “A Flicker of Hope” with their two preceding albums, you quickly get the impression the band has been following a concept concerning both music and lyrics – the life of mastermind Kai A. With this album WYNARDTAGE impressively say goodbye to the black stage (boo!!). The fifteen songs included prove once again why they belong at the spearhead of the dark electro scene.

Finally, an all-new full-length album by ISZOLOSCOPE. “The Edge of Certainty” is proof that the waiting has been worthwhile. Nine powerful tracks ranging from icy crystal-clear technoid industrial to merciless rhythmic distortion, from breakbeats to breakcore, from dark ambient to complex electronica. And not content with one CD, “Beyond Within” was released for their US tour in August. This thirteen-track EP features all-new tracks and as yet unreleased works, plus additional remixes by AH CAMA-SOTZ, IVARDENSPHERE, DEMANUFACTURER, ESA and others.

For their fifth album, CELLULOIDE locked themselves in their Synthélabo and tried to nail the formula of electronic pop ‘à la Française’. “Hexagonal” is a further exploration of the group’s pop and EBM influences with an analogue flavour for a very personal and unique combination of electronic music. “Hexagonal” will be released in a special limited edition, complete with the exclusive “c8b EP” as a bonus disc.

Other news this week includes the long-awaited return of PINK TURNS BLUE with “Storm”, which reached position two in the DAC; French industrial rockers DEXY CORP_ surprise with their new album “Uchronopolis”, a straight diesel-punk concept album; and UNIT 187 return with “Out for Blood”, featuring the band’s trademark synth riffs, movie samples and driving guitars blazing full-tilt.

The masterminds of SABOTAGE Q.C.Q.C. are now touring the world with their new band NUDE, who performed an exclusive new live version of SABOTAGE’s massive track from 1995 “Souvenir”. BLACK RAIN are releasing an exclusive “Souvenir” 7″ edition, which is strictly limited to 500 copies.

San Francisco’s VEIL VEIL VANISH are a promising new act on DEPENDENT, debuting with “Change in the Neon Light”; whilst some band called NORDARR are apparetly for EBM/electro fans and you need to get hold of “Neues von Gestern”.

VERSUS bring us more electropop/EBM from Germany with “Different Twilight Places” and Polish electronic master CH DISTRICT returns with “Conclusion”.

And finally, “Krieg im Kopf” is the ultimate German rock collection, featuring some of the best names in the Neue Deutsche Härte genre – from the newer bands like OSTFRONT and STAHLMANN through to the German chart-topping bands EISBRECHER, IN EXTREMO and SCHWEISSER.

Merchandise

Lots from ANT-ZEN this week with new Family Crest hoodies and T-shirts, and Three Samuri & Ants jackets and T-shirts, plus a coffee (or tea) mug.

There’s also a new Between the Spheres… T-shirt from ISZOLOSCOPE and an EBM Patch from BLACK RAIN.

Have a great weekend and Happy Halloween!

NEW RELEASESDie Krupps Als Wären Wir für Immer Review
Original billed as the “Beyond” single, the new release by DIE KRUPPS has now evolved into a mini album and as such is the first DIE KRUPPS (mini) album to feature exclusively new material since 1997!

Once again, we find DIE KRUPPS breaking new ground, without denying their roots or moving away from their own unique sound. This album is 100% DIE KRUPPS… DIE KRUPPS 2010! Dance floor killers meet groove monsters, moving through the room like a steamroller. Catchy melodies, massive hooks and lyrics with a message are DIE KRUPPS’ trademarks, and this album proves it again: body and mind are in perfect synchronicity!

A great set of remixes completes the picture and shows the broad spectrum of DIE KRUPPS’ music – at the same time proving that remixes can very well have a purpose… the UNHEILIG remix for example was a result of a show the two bands played together three years ago, when UNHEILIG were not yet the headlining band they are today. Out of pure sympathy, both bands agreed to remix each other’s music. The DIE KRUPPS remix was the first to be released, but because the band is only now releasing new material, the UNHEILIG remix of “Beyond” has not seen the light of day till now. Fortunately, the track hasn’t aged a bit and sounds as fresh and exciting as it did when it was originally conceived.

Additionally, “Dr Mabuse”, an absolute 80s classic by Ralf Dörper’s former band PROPAGANDA, which has been in DIE KRUPPS’ live repertoire since the early 90s and has been played even more frequently again in recent years, has also found its way onto this album. It was decided that it was finally time to release a studio recording of DIE KRUPPS’ frenetic version of this cult track.

After “Too Much History” we now have “Als Wären Wir für Immer” (‘As if we were forever’)… it seems like there is no end in sight for DIE KRUPPS! The motto is as always: VOLLE KRAFT VORAUS! (‘Full steam ahead!’)

Einstuerzende Neubauten Strategies Against Architecture IV: 2002 – 2010 Review
EINSTUERZENDE NEUBAUTEN – Blixa Bargeld, N.U. Unruh, Alexander Hacke, Rudolf Moser and Jochen Arbeit – announce the release of “Strategies Against Architecture IV”, following two UK dates in London, part of a European tour celebrating the band’s 30th Annniversary.

This release is the fourth album in the archival compilation series by NEUBAUTEN and collates the band’s output from 2002 to 2010, a period which saw them embark on the “Musterhaus” series (finalised in 2007), as well as the releases “Perpetuum Mobile” (2004), “Grundstück” (2005), “Palast der Republik” (2006), “Alles Wieder Offen” (2007) and their most recent album “The Jewels” (2008). During this time, the band began their groundbreaking series of ‘Supporter Albums’. For these releases, the band, via www.neubauten.org, engaged fans in a subscription model that entirely financed several releases and gave the ‘supporters’ unprecedented exclusive access to the recording process.

The “Strategies Against Architecture IV” double disc release includes material from the band’s deeply symbolic appearance at Berlin’s Palast der Republik – the former of seat of power of the German Democratic Republik, featuring The Social Choir of 100 supporter voices. It also includes live recordings such as “YouMe & MeYou” (from Vienna), “Bertolt Brecht und der Weltempfänger” (featuring ‘a roll of gaffer tape descending a staircase’), and material from the “Musterhaus” series (a collection of very limited edition experimental albums that were available exclusively via the band’s website).

Wynardtage A Flicker of Hope Review
Comparing WYNARDTAGE’s latest work “A Flicker of Hope” with their two preceding albums “The Grey Line” and “Walk with the Shadows”, you quickly get the impression the band has been following a concept concerning both music and lyrics. The same central theme can be found in all three releases, reaching its impressive climax on “A Flicker of Hope”: this CD obviously is a logical consequence of the two predecessors.

The underlying concept is the life of WYNARDTAGE – the life of mastermind Kai A. With “Walk with the Shadows” in 2009, he had actually intended to close the WYNARDTAGE chapter of his life. However, he soon realized that this album was just an intermediate phase of the band’s creative output and could never represent the end of an eight-year history. Thus “A Flicker of Hope” began to take shape. With this album at last WYNARDTAGE impressively say goodbye to the black stage. The fifteen songs included prove once again why they belong at the spearhead of the dark electro scene. Catchy tunes, emotional songwriting and WYNARDTAGE’s distinctive style push to the fore. As well as tracks suitable for clubs like “Deep Red”, “Solitude”, and “A Flicker of Hope”, song like “White Frost” and “Blindfold” verify the knack the guys have for ‘dark’ pop. On top of that, with “Closer”, WYNARDTAGE deliver the ultimate farewell song; an extremely sad ballad fitting into the concept even more than anything else. The spirit of the entire album is summarized by the title of the final track “Who Wants to Live Forever” (a cover of the cult hit by QUEEN known from the movie “Highlander”).

A chapter is closed – may the future begin. There is always a flicker of hope.

Pink Turns Blue Storm Review
Things that take such a long time need to be good, or at least that is the opinion of the band PINK TURNS BLUE. So they have decided to put ten great songs onto a CD called “Storm” and to make it available to the public via Strobelight Records.

After having entered the official German Alternative Charts (DAC) at number five, PINK TURNS BLUE then rose to position two, surrounded almost exclusively by electronic acts such as DEINE LAKAIEN and COMBICHRIST and leaving strong players such as EVILS TOY, UNDERWORLD or LEAETHERSTRIP behind. So it seems that their philosophy has paid off!

Dexy Corp_ Uchronopolis Review
The French industrial rockers DEXY CORP_ surprise with their new album “Uchronopolis”, a straight diesel-punk concept album. Taking its inspiration from books and movies such as “1984”, “V for Vendetta”, “Dark City” and “Brazil”, “Uchronopolis” leads us through the streets of a mystical city where different factions are struggling for control while a strange humanoid creature is at war to find the secret of its humanity. Puppeteering its characters in the city just as in Voltaire’s “Candide”, DEXY CORP_ are attacking the codes and thought processes of totalitarian societies in order to question the place of the individual in our post-modern global society.

The Story: “In the gigantic State City of Uchronopolis, Ysokras Salocin and the Nova Corp rule the thirteen districts of pipes and steam with a fist of steel. An anti-governmental group of activists called the Black Flash, and their mysterious leader Nero, are the only ones to rise against the dictatorship, ignoring the curfews and restrictions imposed on entertainment and freedom of speech. Feeling the wind turning a few decades ago, a brilliant philosopher and achieved scientist submitted a solution to the social struggles based on his research in the cybernetic field. He then was considered a dangerous man and vanished in the desert where he built a massive bunker lab.”

Throughout this original story, the band keeps on hammering their very own blend of cyberpunk metal, but now combine this sound with diesel-punk ambiant works. Darker than the previous one, this album will take you into a roleplaying game and push you to take a major decision just as Key will have to do: support the Nova Corp, the powerful entity from Uchronopolis driven by Ysokras Salocin or join Tyler in the clandestine resistance with the Black Flash and Nero, their mysterious leader?!

DEXY CORP_ already warned us once about our future, now it is time for you to choose a side!

Unit 187 Out for Blood Review
Founded in 1994 by John Morgan and Tod Law, UNIT:187 spent less than a year in their Vancouver studio while playing live at local clubs before landing their first record deal with San Francisco’s seminal 21st Circuitry Records. A solid debut album followed up by several US tours earned the band a respectable fan-base throughout Canada and the US. Their sophomore album, 1998’s “Loaded”, featured new band members Jed Simon (guitar) and Byron Stroud (bass) of STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, and drummer Jay Hagen, and was produced by Devin Townsend. The album yielded some instant industrial classics, such as the title track “Loaded” and “Stillborn” which was remixed for the album by FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY’s Rhys Fulber. 2003 saw the band release their third studio album “Capital Punishment”. Staying with the same line-up, but adding the additional talents of FLA’s Chris Peterson on several tracks, this album doesn’t disappoint, full of Unit’s trademark synth riffs, movie samples, and driving guitars blazing full-tilt.

Nude/Sabotage Souvenir Review
Back in 1995, nobody was able to escape SABOTAGE Q.C.Q.C.’s ingenious song “Souvenir” – every club had this song on its heavy rotation list. Unfortunately, fifteen years later, the band doesn’t exist anymore. But the masterminds of SABOTAGE Q.C.Q.C., Marc W. and Isabelle Geh, are now touring the world with their new band NUDE. With a unique sound, made of drum’n’bass and big beats, plus electro and EBM elements, it is hard to press this band into any category.

At the 15th Elektrisch Festival in Zwickau, NUDE performed an exclusive new live version of SABOTAGE’s massive track. To honor this event, Black Rain are releasing an exclusive “Souvenir” 7″ edition (containing both versions of the classic), which is strictly limited to 500 copies.

Veil Veil Vanish Change in the Neon Light Review
Finding new musical talent in the Internet age hasn’t exactly gotten easier. Although social networking sites give us the opportunity to discover an unbelievable number of new bands, they also increase the number of new artists that we ‘absolutely must hear’, only to find them to be average or worse. So it’s great to find a new band whose exceptional talent is obvious right from the start, and San Francisco’s VEIL VEIL VANISH are just such a band. By the second track on their debut album “Change in the Neon Light”, it is clear that this is no fly-by-night, one-hit wonder, but a capable and devoted band that just need the right attention to break through.

“Change in the Neon Light” features an attractive Hollywood diva on the cover, bathed in stagelight. Is she a person, or a product? Real, or just an avatar? Authentic, or just a good actress? Does she lead the charmed life of the successful entertainer, or does her performance conceal a hidden sadness? Many of these same roles and identities are reflected in the problems of young new bands as they take the first steps to define the relationship between their music and their identity. VEIL VEIL VANISH seem to have discovered a formula for striking the perfect balance between these competing demands, for there seems to be no other explanation for the fantastic quality of their debut. The San Francisco five-piece of Keven Tocon (Guitar, Vox), Amy Rosenoff (Bass), Cameron Ray (Guitar), Robert Marzio (Drums) and Justin Anastasi (Keyboards) move between songwriting styles with a certain ease that never seems flat; Kevin Tocon’s voice displays hints of Robert Smith or Paul Bank but inhabits a unique space of its own. Somehow, the album manages to move between the poles of melancholy, energy, and accessability, forming a synergy which is perhaps what truly defines the soon-to-be classic nature of “Change in the Neon Light”.

Versus Different Twilight Places Review
VERSUS are a musically most diverse band from Monestirea (close to Dresden in Germany) although unmistakeably rooted in electro/EBM. Nevertheless, VERSUS ignore any kind of pigeonholes and thus produce their very own and at the same time quite varied sound – a sound that was already very convincing back in 2004, when the band reached position three in Sonic Seducer’s ‘Battle of the Bands’. Since then, the band have done remixes for the likes of DAYS OF FATE, HEAVY CURRENT and UNIVERSAL POPLAB, and have contributed to various compilations, but there has been no album… until now. “Different Twilight Places” has finally arrived, and is a well-balanced, conceptual fifteen-track electropop EBM album that smoothly combines many different facets of electronic music and takes the listener on a very special journey.

CH District Conclusion Review
Miroslaw Matyasik started his artistic activity in 1996, the main focus of which was the one-man project CH DISTRICT, connecting industrial music tradition with contemporary ‘intelligent electronic’ production. His debut on M-Tronic was a great success in Poland, but even more so abroad – especially in France and America. As a result the artist was invited to take contribute to compilations in the USA and Canada, as well as to perform everywhere, including at the special ‘Polish Days’, organized in Paris. As a resident of famous polish club “Elektro”, he now plays almost every industrial and electronic festival in Poland.

Five years after the much-acclaimed album “Slides” (now deleted), the electronic master strikes back with a splendid new album, which may well be the last release from this act, as its title reveals. The album keeps the dark electronica touch of previous material, while incorporating new dancefloor and industrial influences, and also vocals as on the hit “Like a Human”.

NOW AVAILABLEHeimataerde Unwesen Review
Envisioned by DJ ASh, HEIMATAERDE merge electronic dancefloor beats with soft, often archaically instrumented melodies. The new album “Unwesen” is state of the art harsh EBM/industrial with beats designed to take the underground dancefloors by storm. While musically HEIMATAERDE are much in the vein of legendary dark EBM acts like older WUMPSCUT and SUICIDE COMMANDO, the music does have its own unique identity, and a modern, up-to-date sound. After the highly successful predecessor EPs “Dark Dance” and “Malitia Angelica”, the band now finally return with a massive new chapter in their HEIMATAERDE story!

Funker Vogt Blutzoll Review
After a small series of live releases over the past two years and the last studio album “Aviator” (2007), FUNKER VOGT return with their eighth full length studio album, entitled “Blutzoll”. FUNKER VOGT very much follow their own path with this new album, which features several variations in terms of speed and sound design. This time, the song structures themselves are obviously the most significant thing. Without the typical long sound passages, these songs are much more focussed, which gives them a lot more intensity. “Blutzoll” contains lots of catchy tunes that will be remembered right away from the first listening. In light of this, the record was named to emphasize the difference to the three latest studio releases (“Survivor”, “Navigator” and “Aviator”). FUNKER VOGT are paying attention to the changes of the new decade, they’re starting a new and more casual era here.

The lyrical side of “Blutzoll” also reflects this change of outlook. Although, war and its consequences are present again, there are a lot of songs that don’t cover this theme and are about personal experiences and fictional scenarios. “Arising Hero”, the current single release (available digitally only), presents the final part of the “Hero” trilogy. This single, being the conclusion of the previous singles “Tragic Hero” and “Fallen Hero”, completes the trilogy in a graceful way. The chapter is now closed. To sum it all up, one could say that “Blutzoll” is a compact, but at the same time, a very complex album.

NEW SOUNDCLIPSCovenant Lightbringer (featuring NECRO FACILITY) Review
COVENANT refuse to yield and persistently continue to bring the light in spite of all odds. Another shade of pale, the Morning Star rises once again. With their new EP “Lightbringer”, COVENANT take one step back and two steps forward.

“Lightbringer” comes with five mixes, plus some completely unreleased material, and features contributions from NECRO FACILITY, one of Sweden’s up-and-coming top new electronic acts.

The title track is the fruit of this inspiring collaboration, and the result is undeniably COVENANT but with a new flavor. A groovy, grinding and driven floor-filler with a melody that can’t be exorcised once you’ve heard it. It comes in versions respectively designed by band members Eskil Simonsson, Daniel Myer and Joakim Montelius, each using their own particular sonic foundry and magic, and a stunning Radio Version by Oscar Holter of NECRO FACILITY. COVENANT never sounded this pure.

In addition the EP also contains the previously unreleased tracks “The Beauty and the Grace”, written by Daniel Myer, and “Never Seems to End” by Eskil Simonsson and Joakim Montelius.

The “Lightbringer” EP is undeniable evidence of the synergistic COVENANT maxim “we are more than the sum of our parts”. The light is very bright indeed! Strictly limited to 3000 units.

Culture Kultur Spirit Review
“Spirit” is the long-expected return of CULTURE KULTÜR five years after their last work, “Reborn”, on Out of Line.

Made up of frontman Salva Maine, Josua on keyboards and programming, and since 2005, Distortiogirl, on live keyboards, the band started in 1992 in Malaga, Spain, evolving from an EBM style with distorted vocals to a more electro sound with energetic beats, melodic synths and complex lyrics boosted by powerful vocals. After signing to Out of Line in 1999, they supported the Mexican band HOCICO on their “Tierra Electrica ’99 Tour”, played all major European festivals (WGT, M’era Luna, Infest and Eurorock), as well as doing gigs in the USA, Mexico and Canada, and contributed tracks to countless compilations. After three albums and three EPs on Out of Line, the band have now signed to Caustic Records for their latest release.

This new album represents the perfect mix between catchy melodies, club-oriented rhythms, dark cadences and lyrics inspired by the reality of daily life. But there is more to this work than just the classic danceable tracks that have made the band’s style so popular: there is also a move towards mid-tempo tracks, that are both surprising and touching. With its heavy beats, catchy choruses, real-life topics and vital attitude, this album truly represents the present of underground electropop.

The universe is full of spirit and you are part of it… Welcome back CULTURE KULTÜR!

Angelspit Larva Pupa Tank Coffin Review
Acclaimed as a strikingly original, innovative industrial act, ANGELSPITE proved the adoration accurate with the album “Hideous and Perfect”. Originally from Sydney, Australia, the duo combines male and female vocals, electronics, and melodies in a distinctly dynamic way for fans of bands such as COMBICHRIST, SKINNY PUPPY, NINE INCH NAILS and KMFDM.

Inertia vs Mechanical Cabaret Johnny, Remember Me Review
A special CD single released to mark the London show on 10th September 2010 by these two bands together billed as “INERTIA vs MECHANICAL CABARET”.

This CD was created as a tribute to the legendary UK music producer, JOE MEEK, of whom both bands are big fans. “Johnny, Remember Me” was originally released in 1961, performed by JOHN LEYTON and produced by Meek in his infamous Holloway Road recording studio. Now INERTIA and MECHANICAL CABARET give it their own combined twist.

A mixture of electro, industrial, synthpop and 80s high-energy sleazyness makes this single a very unique release!

INERTIA and MECHANICAL CABARET will be touring together in 2011.

Apoptygma Berzerk Imagine There’s No Lennon Review
It’s not only about strobe lights and dry ice, and, in the end, certainly not about girls and drugs; for these four erstwhile schoolmates from the small town of Fredrikstad in Norway, it’s about nothing less than changing the world with four minutes of magic in every song they pull from their hearts. In 2009, APOPTYGMA BERZERK left home to tour their latest album – “Rocket Science” – around the world for more than nine months. It was their biggest, most extensive, most exhausting tour to date; they were met by ecstatic audiences, die-hard fans in every country; they found people to love and people to learn from; there was laughter and tears and in the end there was tension caused by different lives finally taking different turns.

Shortly after this show, Stephan Groth, Geir Bratland, Angel and Fredrik Brarud agreed that they would not be returning to the stage together. In this constellation, they would no longer perform the songs that made them the people they are, the people they have grown into since they were kids. Accept this DVD/CD with joy, a document that celebrates four passionate men having a ball, entering people’s hearts and minds by doing what they love to do. It has been a remarkable journey, so thanks to all of the Apop fans around the world and thanks to everyone who attended the “Rocket Science” tour. Four musicians who would like to say thank you to their families, their wives and kids for putting up with them and with everything that a road trip entails.

Terence Fixmer Comedy of Menace Review
The first artist album on the new Electric Deluxe label! With his distinct musical style and personality, Terence caught the attention of owner Speedy J at a very early stage in the label’s development. “Comedy of Menace” is the fourth album from this talented pioneer. On his first two albums, released on DJ Hell’s Gigolo label, Terence invented a new style of his own: ‘Techno Body Music’, a unique combination of modern techno and EBM, in the vein of founding fathers NITZER EBB (with whom Terence still collaborates on the FIXMER/MCCARTHY project) and FRONT 242. His third album was released on his own label, and featured a deeper ambience, almost cinematic, palpable emotion and hypnotic rhythms. With “Comedy of Menace” FIXMER has now created a true techno album, with an instantly recognizable pure sound, a deep and dark atmosphere throughout. The album is in many ways hypnotizing and cerebral, yet at the same time keeps the energy flowing, making it perfect for the dancefloor.

Terence explains: “I wanted that people can feel a soul, a story, and the sound of every track to open up the imagination of the listener, creating images in their minds… It’s an art and a passion, my heart is bumping for electronic sounds. I love when the music is really coming from the heart of the machine, when the sound is pure and raw.”

Android Lust The Human Animal Review
Begun in 1995, ANDROID LUST is the musical project of Shikhee, a fiercely independent woman born in Bangladesh, schooled in England and the USA, and now living near New York City. Shikhee is involved in all aspects of her musical production, a rarity in Industrial music where most women seem to be limited to singing swoopily over other peoples’ music. The result is some of the most compelling and challenging industrial music available today.

“The Human Animal” is the fourth studio release from this project, a journey through the psyche of mankind, realising the futility of living in the grips of ego and withdrawing to seek answers within. It comes four years after the release of “Devour, Rise and Take Flight”, a track from which garnered a spot on the official Navy NCIS soundtrack album. “The Human Animal” sees Shikhee collaborating with her live band for the first time in a studio release, giving it an unexpected organic warmth while maintaining her trademark machine edge that cuts uncomfortably if you dare to let it in.

John Foxx D.N.A. Review
This release features unique collaborations between JOHN FOXX and some of his favourite film-makers, with all of the short movies on the DVD having been made especially for this project. On top of that, the CD features all the music from the films, plus tracks that Foxx had recorded as ‘possibilities’ for soundtracks. The final track on the disc, “Over the Mirage” is a new collaboration between JOHN FOXX, HAROLD BUDD and RUBEN GARCIA, while both parts (2 and 7) of “A Secret Life” and also “Violet Bloom” were recorded with STEVE D’AGOSTINO. Ex-JAPAN percussionist STEVE JANSEN also features on the “A Secret Life” instrumentals. All of the stunning artwork for the project has been designed by JONATHAN BARNBROOK, who has previously worked with DAMIEN HIRST and also DAVID BOWIE, designing the sleeve and inner booklet for his “Heathen and Reality” albums.
