another masterpiece that picks up where the previous work CMASA left off.
Twelve beautifully crafted chapters of music segueing between morphing
layers of thick drones, haunting melodies and crackling vocal transmissions.
Chronoland unfolds a fascinating and cineastic atmosphere of frightening
ambient melodica with dark soundwaves deeply imbedded in the music and
bursts of electro-acoustic effects. This release is another step forward
into the sound cosmos of Massimo Magrini with new directions but always
in the unique way of BAD SECTOR.

BLOOD BOX Funeral In An Empty Room CD 13,00 eur LISTEN
years after the CD debut, A World of Hurt (Malignant/Katyn), Blood Box
finally returns with a new album, Funeral In An Empty Room.
As one part of revered dark ambient project Yen Pox, Michael JV
Hensley is certainly no stranger to creating epic and immersive
soundscapes, and with Funeral In An Empty Room, he has yet again
meticulously crafted another highly detailed, intensely atmospheric
work. Awash in slow, dreamlike waves of morphing textures, and blissfully
unfurling cosmic drift, this is nothing less than an aural vision down
the hypnotic path to the unknown; serene yet gloomy, with multiple
layers of swelling tones, subdued melodies, and ominous, spacey effects.
Comes with 12-page booklet.
Wither And Fade
The Celestial Abyss
Battles Beneath The Earth
Armies Of The Midnight Sun
Far Beyond The Silent Sea
Oracle Of Babylon
Reverberant Skies follow eleven steps to the cosmic horizon. A meditative sound-flux, to connect with the interior skies, or to the sky we can see from the earth, in a brilliant night full of stars. Another “oceanic” album quite different from the previously four ones, and more close with Private History of clouds with Alio Die. HIC SUNT LEONES
AGLAIA Naked Movements CD 12,00 eur
Naked Movements is a unique electronic work, innovative respect the previously Aglaia’s albums. Twelve essential tracks, direct and minimal. Ascetic and natural. The places that are described here should be like a nocturnal snow-fall, or a sultry and hot summer afternoon, the rolling of air on a lake’s shore or a simple movements of leaves. It is the artist’s sensibility that translate the reflective and subtle emotions into the fragile poetry of sounds. HIC SUNT LEONES
AGLAIA White Maps CD 12,00 eur
White Maps is a flowing sonic-flux in 5 tracks, it displays a beautiful spectrum of circular waves-sounds with a rich range of dinamic’s frequencies. The intense and expanded landscapes remarks the usual Aglaia’s sound but with more accent on a “symphonic”, and a”choral” quality. HIC SUNT LEONES
ALIO DIE / PARALLEL WORLDS Circo Divino LP 14,00 eur
On Circo Divino the Greek Bakis Sirros (Parallel Worlds) and Italian Stefano Musso who we know better than Alio Die takes us on a journey through a clash of cultures. Whereas we know Alio Die mostly from his ethnic ethereal ambient soundscapes, the two decided on incorporating those sounds with the modular synthetic sounds for which Bakis Sirros is known. Pictures of the journey are depicted in six tracks, within which you travel from Greece to Italy in under an hour; or maybe its a journey from an Arabian sunset to the factory outside town. This one is quite hard to describe. In ethnic ambient there are just a few names which are far above everyone else, and Stefano Musso is one of them. And even though I hadnt heard his name before, my peers guarantee that Bakis Sirros is an absolute master when it comes to modular synthesis (Bauke Van der Wal) HIC SUNT LEONES

Using selected sound materials from Sonorous stones, Stalactites, Bat calls, Flutes, Field recordings collected by Mariolina Zitta in different caves in Liguria a Sardinia, Italy, processed and edited by Alio Die. In “Lithos” the drones are played by the authors on a set of long stones that goes in resonance, caressed by a bathed hand, by the same principle of the crystal’s glasses. A very immersive and obscure traveling, an underground meditation with a ritual touch, in accord with the “natural sound”, despite the sampling and multieffect techniques used here. A deep listening experience. HIC SUNT LEONES

ALIO DIE & MATHIAS GRASSOW Praha Meditations CD 13,00 eur
After the concert in Prague last year in may, we followed the proposalof friends to play some acoustic instruments spontaneously on top of the hill, in Troja, into a circle of stones installations. Zithers, Tubes, Bells, Rattle and Shells, Flutes..the sessions wereinspired from the special place and the spring’s vibes in the wind. Therecordings that are a blueprint of the spirit of that day, were editedin studio by Alio Die, then Mathias Grassow added his electronic dronesto expand the point of view and enrich the flow and layers of thecompositions. The result in eight tracks, show how mostly static and repetitive balanced sounds can interact with our perception duringthe listening time, bringing us into an active and intimate quiet mood, softly absorbing us into some dreams-like and time-opening experience. All sound material has been recorded and mixed by Enrico Coniglio at Tripi h. Studio (Venice-Italy) and Oophoi in The Kiva, winter 2008 Aquadorsa is a new musical Italian ambient project formed by Enrico Coniglio and Oophoi.Theyr first work Cloudlands is a perfect mix of glithc, classical and orchestral glacial ambient soundscape.Enrico Coniglio is a guitar player and composer and his research has increasingly focused on the relationship between ‘music’ and ‘landscape ‘, in an attempt to represent the contemporary crisis of the territory, the loss of nature and identity of places, and the unknown on the evolution of post-urban and post-industrial territory. He has collaborated with various artists, including: Nicola Alesini, Joachim Roedelius and Elisa Marzorati. He has produced some releases such as “AREAVIRUS – topofonie vol.1” (2007 Psychonavigation), “dyanMU” (2008 Psychonavigation) and digital releases Sapientumsuperacquis on Touch Radio (Touch records) and Crònicaster (Crònica Electronica).Gianluigi Gasparetti better know as Oophoi started his own music experiments in 1995, trying to explore the shores of deep space-ambient. His live album “The spirals of time”, released in 1997 by Amplexus, has been voted as one of the best ambient albums of all times.Oophoi uses traditional instruments as synths and sampling machines and his music is recorded using analog-only devices in The Kiva.He has released CDs for many International labels such as Amplexus, Hypnos, Nextera, Prikosnovénie and Glacial Movements and he has collaborated with Louisa John Krol,Alio die,Mathias Grassow and Klaus Wiese. FRANCISCO LOPEZ Amarok CD 12,00 eur
Francisco López is known all over the world as one of the main figures of all time experimental music. He performed in hundreds lives, projects and sound-sets in 60 countries of 5 continents and his huge discography has been released by more than 200 labels all over the world. His musical universe moves from human-ear limits to the deepest abysses of sonorous power and it is mostly composed of field recordings caught along the wildest areas of Earth or between the sounds of industrial world. For Amarok composition two years of hard work have been employed using sounds and processed field recordings. Its a unequalled conceptual soundscape in this artists huge discography and it perfectly joins to Glacial Movements aesthetics. After a few seconds from the track beginning we are dip into an arctic trip which lasts more than an hour and in which tangled weavings in a masterly fashion handled by the Spanish artist appear, develop and dissolve. Gusts of arctic wind, the Amaroks wheezing breath (Amarok is the name of a gigantic wolf in Inuit mythology) and the sense of loss in the polar night are only some of the sensations that this cryogenic hallucinatory acustic is able to evoke.Amarok is probably one of the more isolationist and spookiest work Ive ever done Francisco López, march 2009 Glacial Movements
“Like a slow river” it’s a work characterized by sharp and minimal atmospheres but also dark, cold and huge such as big bodies of ice which slowly move carried by an endless river. The five compositions of “Like a slow river” reach the high expectations of the previous works such as “Cold Summer”, “Continue” and the “Murder Ballads” trilogy with Martin Bates. With no doubt, this is the coldest and darkest work ever composed by this pioneer of industrial-ambient music. You all will be led to the oblivion of your existence….the freezing darkness of these glacial night is going to come down on your bodies and minds….you’ll fall in your deepest sleep with the far echo of glacial runnings….the way to eternity is in front of you….. LUSTMORD Zoetrope 2xLP 19,00 eur
Burning World records is extremely proud to be able to release a full-length endeavor by Lustmord for the first time in 26 years. Inspired by Franz Kafka’s story In the Penal Colony, the film is an attempt to transfer Kafka’s dark, nightmarish vision and gloomy atmosphere to celluloid. Music-video cinematographer James Hawkinson shot the film. The 3D animation for the film was created by Robert Beebe. Shot on 35mm film on extremely smooth black-and-white stock, the film features dark and surreal visuals. This 18-minute work features a dark ambient soundscape by musician and sound designer Lustmord (also known as Brian Williams) and was released on DVD in 2005 by Soleilmoon Recordings.
On the way: – A Collection of previously unreleased material recorded between 1994 and 2007. Includes works recorded for film .
It was one of those rare occasions when you hear something, you cannot help but think ‘where the hell does this come from?’ nSo thought Steve Wilson in 1996 as he listened to the two Digital Audio Tapes (DATs) of remixes by Bryn Jones aka Muslimgauze of his bands Porcupine Tree and No Man. Wilson chuckled good-naturedly as Jones referred to the remixes as improvements over his own musicianship. Actually, Wilson was flattered since Jones, whom he met a week earlier at a Manchester pub, responded both promptly and creatively to promo CD singles passed along as both a gesture and musical calling card. While Wilson found the remixes intriguing, he did not know what to do with them. The DATs held only faint resemblance to the source material, which was smothered in the toxic waste distortion, deft manipulations, and industrial strength beats of Muslimgauze. Perhaps a handful of Wilson’s fan base would have ‘gotten it’, but it would have simply went over the heads of the majority. Wilson rang up Jones and said there was no way he could possibly release this music. The response was yet another DAT a week later titled, the We cannot possibly release this’ remixes. Wilson then suggested, rather than release remixes, to work on a collaboration which would be the basis of his then-new experimental music project, Bass Communion. Jones agreed and sent original Muslimgauze material which was the basis for the full-length and EP CD’s Bass Communion V. Muslimgauze (Soleilmoon 1999 and 2000, respectively). The remix DATs as well as unused material for the collaboration languished in Wilson’s studio until the Muslimgauze Preservation Society approached Wilson about bringing the music into the loving homes of Muslimgauze enthusiasts. The Muslimgauze Preservation Society are proud to offer you MPS 02, Camel Through A Needles Eye, featuring two discs of unreleased music that clock in at just under three hours. Muslimgauze like you never heard it; a yin/yang of both the abrasive textures and ethereal, beat-driven and ambient fused into wondrous harmony. To commemorate this release, the MPS sourced covers in Egypt to be hand-printed onto genuine papyrus. A second cover is set amidst a 9 panel fold insert with extensive liner notes on one side, and a fold-open poster featuring Jones’ original art work on the other. A bonus sticker of Jones’ art work is also included. The music and packaging is all set within a super jewel case to protect this special edition limited to a run of 500.
NETHERWORLD Over The Summit CD 12,00 eur
Netherworlds icy symphony is back as the moniker of Alessandro Tedeschi, Glacial Movementss mind and arm. After having produced Mørketid acclaimed by critics all over the world as a precious gem of ambient music, and featured on key compilations such as The Wire Tapper 22 (Aurora Borealis blu ice mix, edited for The Wire), Zaum Vol.1 produced by the Irelands Psychonavigation, and also a split CD with the Canadian duo Nadja titled Magma to Ice (Fario Records).Throughout his own label, Netherworld has worked with internationally renowned artists such as Rapoon (ex Zoviet France), Lull (Mick Harris/Scorn), Francisco Lopez, Oophoi , and bvdub and has already planned new features with Thomas Koner, Loscil, Pjusk and emerging, new talent. In the sound of the Roman artists, fragments of classical music blend with field recordings of every kind, voices and found sounds are manipulated, sampled and remixed, converting them in new frames and timbres likely to evoke rest and silence typical of the extensive glacial vastnesses. 3 years after his first full length CD, Netherworld comes back with this new work titled Over the Summit, in which enclosed memories, feelings, and past experiences, deeply lived during the years and surrounded by an almost deafening silence, can be heard and felt circling vast mountains snowy peaks. The underlined aspect is the sensation of peacefulness or contemplation of an uncontaminated and silent nature, wrapped in the winters white blanket. For the six tracks composing Over the Summit, the sound emanated by the Aurora Borealis has been embraced and manipulated for a work of art, melting it with ethers of orchestral fragments escaped by the perennial layers of Permafrost. OOPHOI An Aerial View CD 12,00 eur
“When Ive been asked to describe the Ice Age with an uninterrupted drone, I knew I wanted to avoid the cliches of the genre: dark rumblings, massive low frequencies, cold atmospheres. I had to describe with sounds the white landscape, the blinding light reflected by the frozen oceans, the abyssal silence.I have imagined myself in flight over this Sleeping Earth, a solitary winged-being surrounded by winds, air, water and ice. This led me to compose an airy drone with minimal variations and delicate tones, an hommage to a pure, incontaminated and remote land. Glacial Movements
SKARE Solstice City CD 12,0 eur
Skare is the collaboration of Mathias Josefson (Moljebka Pvlse), Fredrik Olofsson and Per Åhlund. The members of Skare are all fascinated by the circulation of water, snow and ice. The metamorphosis from gas to floating liquid to snow to solid ice through freezing, the light reflecting from the snow and filtered through the ice as a prisma and – most of all – the sound of this ever ongoing circle. Skare’s first album, Solstice City, is an interpretation of a journey through a shifting landscape where the city meets nature. Departing from a distant and foreign shore, the traveller embarks a ship, uncertain of his destination. This prelude, introduced vividly in “To the other shore”, releases this pilgrim to further explore yet unchartered territories. Leaving all man-made conventions, the second track “Through Wind and Broken Ice” takes us where the city imitates nature. Finally, a factory appears in the whiteout; a place where angels are manufactured as presented in the final track “The Snow Angel Factory”…The vehicles used by Skare on this journey are field recordings, found sounds and treated and manipulated instruments. Glacial Movements
This is a collection rare & unreleased tracks from the U.S. dark ethno/drone cult-project recorded 1992-1996, all re-mastered by VOICE OF EYE themselves. You can find here the famous “Sprocket” 7″ for Drone Records (1994), the lost mCD for ND that was never released (1995), rare compilation tracks (some of them never came out), plus a complete, fantastic rehearsal for a live show (1996) and an extract from Tryst 8 (split Cass. with BIG CITY ORCHESTRA, 1995); packed in a nice 6-panel digipack with full colour artwork by Conundrum incl. early photos of the band. VOICE OF EYE is an US American (male/female) duo that gained a very strong reputation in the experimental, post-industrial and new forming & growing “Drone” scene at that time through three fantastic CDs released in the early 90’s. They also had one of the most famous 7″es in the Drone Records vinyl series (DR-09 / 1994), which was never re-issued after. After a 10-year break (where they built a simply amazing “Earthship” house in the deserts of New Mexico) they returned playing live & releasing new albums (i.e. a 10″ vinyl on our sublabel Substantia Innominata in 2008), going into new & more “musical” & psychedelic directions. ANTHOLOGY 2 shows the duo from New Mexico in their first active phase (1989-1996) when they refined their unique style which could be described as very ethereal and atmospheric drone-ambience, often using self-built instruments and objects and the voice of female member Bonnie McNairn. Their music has often a very emotional & ritualistic quality, without falling in typical “dark ambient”-clichees. These sounds can really touch your soul at the very core of unconscious being. ANTHOLOGY 2 is the second volume of rare material, the first one was released last year on the prolific VINYL-ON-DEMAND label as do-LP. This is also the first non-Troum CD-release on Transgredient Records as we couldn’t resist to release this fantastic material !! TRANSGREDIENT
