Aidan Casserly announces the debut release of his project GLASS DANCER
with the release of his Original Motion Picture Soundtrack to the horror film “Demon Dolls”.
Full composed and created electronically, “Demon Dolls” OST is dark, hypnotic and sinister in mood with an added melancholic feel. It has shades of John Carpenter and also the work of Geoff Barrow and Ben Salisbury (Drokk: Music inspired by Mega-City One, and Ex Machina). Yet, it brings adds to that sound with further layers of synths.
To quote Aidan Casserly –
“I was delighted to be given the opportunity to compose a full soundtrack by US based Director Dustin Ferguson for his remake of the 1993 Todd Jason Falcon Cook film “Demon Dolls”. Written and composed in two weeks in October 2014, it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to work on such a film.
With Empire State Human disbanding September 2014, it was also a chance to begin a new chapter of my musical life immediately and without delay.
I thrilled to see it release July 31st, and I’ve included 3 bonus track for this release that didn’t make it into the final cut. These are “Dead Eye”, “Cult of One” and “Rise of the Dolls. I am currently recording my debut song based album ‘Humanoid’, which is close to completion”.
The DVD and VHS of the film is also released this week by Screamtime Films.
