I got a CD I'm reviewing soon from a band called Artica, very nice little Italian goth group. And yes the lyrics are all in Italian. I got translations but for now I'm just listening to the lyrics going 'ohhhhh pretty words!'.
Reminds me of all the post punk goth of old, a bit of Joy Division here and a bit of The Damned there, very nice overall. The singer sounds hoarse as hell but that just adds to the cryptic mood of it all. He reminds me of a hoarse Ian Curtis doing Fields Of The Nephilim.
Anyway this band kicks total ass, though I never thought of Italy as having a great goth scene. Then again I know almost nothing about the Italian scene to begin with!
