Chain D.L.K. a.k.a. Marc or marcnyc
(1/1)
Chain D.L.K. (Marc):
I'll start myself...
My real name is Marc.
I write on this forum as Chain D.L.K. or as marcnyc.
I was born and raised in Switzerland. Later my family moved to Italy where I lived 15 years. In 1999 I moved to New York City where I've been living and doing my real job: I am a freelance music producer and sound engineer (http://www.marc-us.com). In NYC I work in a recording studio called EastSide Sound (http://www.eastsidesound.com).
Music is my life, besides that I like travelling, webdesign (http://www.featherfactory.org) and kiteboarding/kitesurfing. This is my life. Life sucks but I try to enjoy it as I can.
I created the D.L.K. magazine in 1994. Later I joined forces (that's what it's all about) with Maurizio Pustianaz a.k.a. Gerstein who was running a webzine called Chain the Door. We've renamed our common project CHAIN D.L.K..
That's me, that's how I got here... a decade and more later...
DRhein:
Hi Marc! nice to meet ya! :-) It sounds like you are pretty active, so it is nice that you also set aside time and dedication for the webzine. What does D.L.K. stand for by the way? Looking for your partner Maurizio's intro ;-)
Chain D.L.K. (Marc):
D.L.K. was supposed to stand for "the hell key", at the time I was young and in school they hadn't yet tought me that K is pronounced "kay" and not "key"... when I learned this I didn't wanna change it anymore because word had left the building already ;-)

you'll never know nothing about my secrets
;)
p.s. just allow me a day to write it
:P
