Evolving from Southend’s infamous Junk Club, The Cave Club
re-grouped and moved to the capital to set up at the Buffalo Bar in
Islington in 2007. After seven era defining years of its monthly
residency, Cave was forced to move to pastures new after it was
announced that the venue on Highbury Corner was shut down in December
2014.

Now one of London’s most loved and revered underground
nights, The Cave Club has inspired many and been at the forefront of
all things good in the capital’s ever changing nightlife.

Not
only the best place in the city to dance, but bands such as TOY, The
Voyeurs, Novella, Factory Floor, Telegram and Temples were invited to
play their earliest shows to an unsuspecting, but eager club
crowd.

TRANSELEMENT
DEBUT ALBUM –
‘RURAL TUNINGS’
RELEASED – CREEPING BENT ORGANISATION – 15TH
NOVEMBER 2019

NEW VIDEO SHARE – ‘LOST IN AN EIDERDOWN’ –
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gTMtMAf_ixg&feature=youtu.be

After nearly twenty years since the record’s conception, The
Creeping Bent Organisation is delighted to announce, the long awaited
release of the debut album by Lancashire hotpots Transelement.

To coincide, the band have shared lead single ‘Lost In An
Eiderdown’ which is accompanied by a startling video that recalls
the quirky joy and beauty created by Oliver Postgate and Vernon
Elliot, albeit delivered from the mushroom laden fields of rural
Lancashire.

‘Rural Tunings’, recorded in 2001 and
scheduled to be released on Creeping Bent that year, features fourteen
genre defying tracks by a band of teenage pop visionaries that were
described by the late great John Peel as simply “weird”. A huge
admirer of the band, the celebrated DJ invited Transelement into the
BBC studios in Maida Vale to record two separate sessions in the space
of a few months for broadcast on his show.

Album Track
Listing:
01. ‘Marlybourne Rusk’
02. ‘Booda Fly’
03.
‘Valentino Morriazzi’
04. ‘Lost In An Eiderdown’
05.
‘Bone Marrow Winky’
06. ‘Crackt Ol’ Cupboard’
07.
‘September In Edinburgh’
08. ‘Dusty & Brown’
09.
‘Dancing Dogs’
10. ‘Turban Paper’
11. ‘Old Martyr
Horses’
12. ‘Past Twelve Theme Tune’
13.
‘Faberge’
14. ‘Chainmail’

Formed in school by Jay
Stansfield and Karl Eden (vocals / guitars / synths) and Mark
Tattersall (drums / machines / tapes), they started scraping together
aural weirdness on a broken 4 track tape machine, which resulted in an
experimental approach to making skewed pop. The trio went several name
mutations, but in the late 1990’s they were called Element and sent
a hand-coloured designed cassette through the letterbox of Douglas
MacIntryre at Creeping Bent H.Q. in Mount Florida, Glasgow which at
the time boasted a roster of Alan Vega & Revolutionary Corps of
Teenage Jesus, The Leopards, The Nectarine No9, The Secret Goldfish,
and Adventures in Stereo.

Douglas MacIntyre takes up the
story:

“We were really too busy with the artists we were
already working with to sign anyone as we were receiving considerable
attention and all of our groups were recording BBC Radio 1 Peel
Sessions.

However, Transelement got their pop hooks in me and
it was agreed a track would be released on the Creeping Bent Singles
Club. The track ‘Lord Aparts’ was immediately picked up by Peel
and other turned-on members of the media. My craving could not be
satisfied and it was decided to release a mini-album, ‘Sour
Blaster’, which started connecting with a growing audience of
weirdoids. The group were assembling and amassing a considerable
number of songs all recorded on their faulty 4 track machine. An album
was scheduled for release by us in 2001, but sadly was never released
for various reasons too abstract to deconstruct here. It is
undoubtably one of my favourite Creeping Bent releases so I’m
pleased to be finally letting this album escape into the
omniverse”.

October
29, 2019 – UK-based gothic rock band HER DESPAIR proudly announces the
release of their new video, "The Exorcism."
"The Exorcism"
appears on HER DESPAIR's forthcoming EP, Exorcisms Of Eroticism
available on November 22.

For fans of: Sisters of Mercy, HIM,
Fields of the Nephilim

Check out the video
HERE:
https://bit.ly/36ig07P

"The Exorcism" revolves around
the intoxication of lust; that overwhelming desire for someone to the
extent that it feels you could be possessed. The term “exorcism”
here, is very much a euphemism. Musically we wanted to draw on
influences such as Suspiria, focussing on dance synths rather than our
more usual sounds. We wanted something that was suitably hard-hitting,
but could also get the dance floor moving.

The accompanying
video encapsulates the mood of the music perfectly, and we would
recommend you watch it, if you dare.

HER DESPAIR began as a
solo studio project with the release of the 2015 album Hymns For the
Hopeless. Showcasing the melodramatic sound and aesthetic of gothic
music with the accessibility of punk and the stylings of heavy metal,
the project has subsequently evolved into the current full
line-up.

Drawing influence from such classic acts as The
Sisters of Mercy and Fields of the Nephilim, alongside more
contemporary bands such as HIM, Rammstein and The 69 Eyes, HER DESPAIR
create their own unique twist on the styles they are inspired
by.

Mournography, the follow-up EP and debut release as a full
band, was released in July 2018 in association with Spectre Records
and Dewar PR. Recorded at Whitehouse Studios with producer Matt Bew,
the EP helped the band develop and engage their audience
significantly; both personally and through frequent use of social
media.

During Summer 2019, work was completed on the latest
opus; Exorcisms of Eroticism. Recorded again with Matt Bew at
Whitehouse Studios, HER DESPAIR have evolved and improved the formula
demonstrated in their previous output, stating

Exorcisms of
Eroticism is the dark and dramatic collection of six new gothic rock
anthems from HER DESPAIR. Designed to unravel the mysteries of the
theologic and the erotic, each song is set to a storm of symphonic
instrumentation; providing the perfect soundtrack for your sorrows.
The Mourning fades, now the Exorcisms begin…

HER DESPAIR
continues to expand their fan base throughout live performances as
both headliner and support in cities across the UK including London,
Leeds, Leicester, Oxford, Bournemouth and Reading. 2019 has also seen
HER DESPAIR perform at Darker Days Festival, with further concerts
confirmed, including the Marquis Masquerade Goth Festival in Whitby.
Clouds of smoke and lights theatrically immerse the audience,
providing the perfect setting to experience the compelling material.
